Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Loved the BBQ joint inside of a gas station! Being from the North, these two things are mutually exclusive, but not here! So good!

Amazing! Just simply amazing! Love this place, they are very professional, super nice, very good food and the price is just something the other BBQ places around town should take a lesson from.

I'm so sad.... Has been awhile since I've been (out of state). Meat (baby-back ribs & brisket), while cooked, was barely warm... No bark on ribs - broke my heart

It's not what it used to be. The pulled pork had the consistency of mashed potatoes. The Prime Rib was super tough. Brisket was salty as can be. Ribs and sausage were still good though.

My second review not so good the brisket bark is the correct color but it has absolutely no flavor I don't know what the pit master is doing different not coating the brisket good enough but something needs to be done

I love bbq and am changing my review, Friday night my wife picked up half a chicken for me so when I got home from the gym hadn't ate anything since breakfast 14 hours earlier I ate the chicken with coleslaw and water to drink I laid down around 9 pm , around 12 am my stomach started cramping ran to the restroom constantly dumping and it went on for 2 days (food poisoning)

My husband and I stopped at Rudy’s BBQ in Waco off IH-35 to eat while driving from Oklahoma back to our home in Texas. To our disappointment the food was NOT good at all! The brisket was super, super dry and extremely cold! It was almost as if it had been reheated for about a second because it was very cold. NOT fresh at all!! The chicken, exactly the same, COLD! Sausage, just a bit better. We bought plenty of each item because our thoughts were to bring leftover food items home for a later snack. Hating to do it, because our order was not cheap, we threw away what was left!! VERY disappointed…we will definitely not be back to Rudy’s BBQ in Waco!!
