Food has a great flavor they don't smoke long enough so typically chewy

Just picked up an online order and had a disappointing experience at pickup. The lady at the counter was very rude when I asked about plates for a to-go order. I understand if plates aren’t available, but your website indicates that plates are offered with to-go orders, so I expected at least some kind of alternative or a more courteous response.

That said, I want to give credit where it’s due, the gentleman at the meat station was extremely nice, attentive, and helpful. His customer service really made up for the negative interaction and left a much better impression overall.

Well I asked for a moist chopped beef sandwich. I learned if you don't get moist, it's pretty dry & tough. When I got home, my sandwich was nothing but pure fat pieces. Large chunks of FAT!!! I even said no bark, I can't eat bark, so mine had tons of bark! Can't call up there to explain, they closed at 9pm....

This is a place I like to stop at when traveling on I-35. Food is always consistently good. The brisket never disappointed.

Outstanding BBQ and sides, the Cole Slaw being my personal favorite side. Staff was friendly and efficient. Venue was clean and well layed out. Plenty of parking, with feel pumps available out front if you're traveling.

I order dozens of Rudy’s breakfast tacos throughout the year for company events and every time my order is perfect and always ready when I arrive at the store. This week I ordered 3 dozen the day before for an early morning pickup but due to an emergency I was unable to pick them up. Holly at the Waco store called and left voicemail checking to see if I was ok first and wanted to see if I was going to be able to pick up my order. I called Holly the next morning to explain the situation and the first thing that she said was I hope you are ok. She offered a full refund . Besides having great food, Rudy’s employees great people with great character that you don’t see much anymore. Thank you Holly and Rudy’s for your kind service.

My wife and I shared the pork ribs and a giant baked potato. The ribs were tender and juicy, devine! Potato was giant indeed, as well as quite good. Place isn't fancy, but the BBQ is great and reasonably priced for what it is. Highly recommend!

I am not a big BBQ person. With that being said, I am now. I had a Brisket Sandwich and took a Jalapeño Sausage Sandwich home. It was the best I have ever had. Even the Onions were fresh and they use great tasting Pickles. I will be back for sure
