This is such a hidden gem. Their food is very special and creative and the taste is suuuuper good! I ordered stuffed avocado with salmon, the drizzle is a perfect touch. The vibe feels like family and I’m touched to see Tom & Jerry playing on the TV. They just have great taste over all kinds of everything! Will definitely visit again next time in Waco. Can’t wait to try their sandwiches!

This was chance visit and I so enjoyed the flatbread. I was headed to another restaurant when I saw The Mix and decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was quaint, and I loved the flatbread. I would totally go again!

The best chicken pesto sandwich that has ever graced my taste buds. I’ve been going here for a couple years and I have never ever been disappointed. It’s always on point. 10/10

Drove through Waco from Dallas to Austin and stopped for lunch since this place had good reviews. We got a Chicken pesto sandwich, a BLT, two side soups (tomato and cheddar broccoli) and fries (I would drink that aioli dip it’s so good) to share— with 2 soda foundation drinks (Coke products) under $50.
Food was simple but incredibly delicious that had great flavors that tasted like home. This is comfort food with decent prices.
I’m a little picky about my sandwiches, but let me tell you that these were one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m sad that I live 2 hours away, but it’s tempting to drive back anyway. Those Baylor U kids are lucky to have it so close to campus.
Guy at the register was chill and brought our food to the table. Inside has two sides, one with AC and one without if you rather have hot kitchen vibes. Great college cafe with quirky decor and has free WIFI.

It is not to far from the Baylor campus. They have healthy options for low carb. The food is very good and staff are friendly.

My sister and I were in Waco to visit Magnolia. We found this place online, and the menu looked appealing. We are so glad we wandered off the beaten path just a few streets away from I-35 to find this absolute delight. Excellent service, delicious food, and overall great experience. Check out the chicken salad on a bed of avocado. You'll think you've just died and gone to heaven! They offer an extensive menu with a wide variety of dishes. Great for the entire family.
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Don't miss eating here.
Really good food. Lots of choices which were all somewhat healthy. The garlic broccoli was super good. They had unsweetened tea which was nice. The ingredients all seemed fresh. The employees were nice and helpful.

The service was so good. The lady who took our order was awesome. Very patient and very helpful . I would definitely recommend and I will definitely go back for more
Food is great
The food came out very quick and the young lady at the front was wonderful! However we found some type of hair in our sandwiches. The cook hair no hair net on and we only found the hair after Eatting the first half. The young Landry at the front was very kind and gave us a refund but, it was rather gross to find hair in your sandwich.
We ordered online for a quick pick up. Sandwiches were hot and yummy. Fries were good (feta and sweet tater). Worth the detour into Baylor while on way to DFW
Great food, good service, tons of options...a true "mix" of everything.
