Based on the reviews, Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp is a great mix of Tex-Mex and Cajun. It has cold drinks, great food, and a fun atmosphere. The fish is excellent, and the Spirits and other alcoholic beverages are good to dine with. The food is delicious and excellent overall. The service can be a highlight, with attentive staff who know the menu cold and keep the margaritas coming at the right time. Some servers have an amazing laugh and wonderful jokes. However, the online reservation system does not work, and the service can be slow if the waitress has a lot of tables. The live music is whacked, sounding like someone beating cats if sitting on the other side of the building, and a cleaning cart next to a booth can be smelly. Tia Juanita’s is a solid spot for a good vibe and a fun night, especially for group gatherings. It is a wonderful place for a birthday dinner with a great band playing and a wonderful atmosphere.
