This place is really really good! Hole in the wall and easy to miss in the plaza but glad I stopped in. The staff is super nice and attentive. The food hit close to home and is very well portioned and authentic. Tortillas are home made and taste of it all was super good. Aguas frescas were nice and refreshing and the service was pretty quick. Definitely worth a shot and worth supporting a local small business.
The golden tripe tacos are super good, and the sauces are all good. They just need to give a double tortilla because one breaks and there is no way to eat the taco. Put 2 tortillas and the problem will be solved, but the flavor is very good.
This place definitely doesn't get the attention it deserves. Staff were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great. Real authentic Mexican food with a wide list of meats to choose from to add to your entree. The portion sizes were more than expected and I would say you'll feel you got every dollar you spend.
