I love coming here. The food is always fantastic and the restaurant is very clean. The service never waivers, I’ve never been treated with anything but a smile and kindness. It’s a must try. And you don’t break the bank eating here. The owner I believe always goes around saying hello.

I remember when this restaurant opened when I was about 8 yo it was amazing. The place to go after a ball game! I moved out of state for work as an adult. At 33 yo I moved back to north Texas and couldn’t wait to eat here again. The owner was there and I had to shake his hand and tell my little story. I recognized two of the cooks that STILL work there!! This is a Texas staple! The burgers are great the fries are crispy. This is a family place to eat great food. Texas Star take my 5 stars and I wish I could give more, this is a hometown restaurant in a big city. The owner, the cooks, and the food makes you feel like you’re eating at your neighbors house. 10/10 recommend!

Great, diverse menu, friendly staff. Outdoor seating is comparably comfy because the stone benches have cushions. I usually get mushroom swiss burger, wife gets a gyro. I also like their Greek salad, fried chicken topped salad, lamb topped salad, patty melt, and sausages. The fries are fantastic but I wish they were consistently spiced.
Fox News on all the time though. Exhausting politics at meals: I sit with my back to the TV. They have a nice new tV menu that shows them prepping the popular items: would love more of those.

One of the best “fast food” burgers I’ve ever had! Fresh, great flavor and amazing. Fries were crisp and had an incredible seasoning on them. We will definitely be back!!

While the quality of pretty much every fast food place has gone down, Tex's Star Grill has been consistently on point. They have a lot of variety, high quality food, big portions. Its the best and we are lucky to have it in our neighborhood! My faves are the Gyro combo, Western Bacon Cheeseburger, and chicken tenders (which are gigantic btw). If you are considering stopping in for the first time... quit contemplating and just do it!

Amazing Gyros with homemade tzatziki sauce. The Golden Burger was quite unusual but delicious as well...definitely will go back for more. Even the prices were great!
Parking: They were easy to find and have an order counter, but they delivered the food to our table.
I would give 5 stars if they would add some healthy greens to the salads. The fried catfish was very good
