I could really say I was impressed. If you want soul food with the country taste, this is the place. The establishment was very welcoming. So I had meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potato with gravy. Everything was delicious. Whenever I’m in this area again I will be visiting.

This was our first time here at Ida Mae’s and they definitely did not disappoint. The staff was very polite, professional and friendly (like family). We had fried chicken, chicken & waffles, smothered pork chops. It was all delicious the smothered chops were like butter…fork tender to perfection. The only thing was I prefer my smothered meat w/rice(that was not presented as a side option on the menu). The greens were well seasoned and tasty, the mac & cheese for me personally was a miss. The fried chicken was hot, fresh, and seasoned. When we’re back we will definitely be stopping at Ida Mae’s and you should too.

False advertisement due to their catfish is not catfish. Their red beans taste like canned ranch style beans. Owner very rude hangs up on customer. We need to do better when it comes to customer service. Horrible hot water corn bread. Very disappointed and I don't recommend this place.

Fresh , hot and delicious food . I treated my brother for his birthday he loved it and that is no easy feat lol. it was totally worth the drive I will be back .
First time coming with my family and the food was delicious. A small but loving place to come eat really good food. Great customer service and a real taste that you can tell comes from the soul of this family. I'm coming back next Sunday!

Food was good. I ordered a slice of sweet potato pie only to find out it wasn’t in the bag with the rest of my order. I called several times no one answered the phone, so I called the next day and the same thing no answer. Parking is horrible!

The food in my opinion was lacking seasoning period. I had porkchops and my friend had meatloaf. Both missed the mark. I under stand salt due to health but there are 100's of other things that could have made this better. Also mac n cheese should NOT be cold at 1pm. The best thing I had was the tea.

Let's start with the atmosphere, well the music was good but loud. While walking by going to our seat able to see the people in the kitchen we saw some very long hair with no hair nets that made us feel some kind of way . Then our waiter was not smiling trying to be a little friendly but not much. Now the food, I have had way better soul food at home, we had the fish which is suppose to be catfish, which was more like swai fish, greens ok, cabbage a little mushy, beañs ok, Mac n cheese not good and the garlic mashed potatoes tasted sour, last but not least that hot water corn bread is not to die for please stop serving it, I'm sorry but it's all true we wanted to love it but we didn't. We tried to support this establishment but we won't be dinning there any more. They need to work on their professionalism as well as their food!!!!!
