Warning very few people here speak English. I have since moved away but I went here very often for tamales and also Mexican sweet bread.The service is pretty good and the owners are extremely nice. I end up recommending this place to all my friends and people I meet.

We decided to take a trip to look for tamales, it was well worth the drive. The location is on 77 Business just east of IH 35E, off the beaten path. You have to look out for the “Gonzales Bakery” sign. The parking lot is not paved, so watch out for divots and puddles, no Handicap Parking. The Folk’s service was courteous and friendly. The breakfast tacos and burritos were freshly made and awesome, especially with the salsas. The choices of Pan Dulces were ok but nothing...
