Everyone working here has excellent service skills! I will definitely come back here! My waitress was absolutely amazing, she did an excellent job. The cook was ON POINT! The food was perfect! Bacon and hash browns were both perfectly crunchy, over medium eggs were exactly over medium, biscuit browned on the griddle. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancake meal with a hot chocolate. Everything came out super fast, great service, clean restaurant. I witnessed another waitress touch or bump a glass with her bracelet and she immediately told the customer and told her she would bring another glass of water. That level of attention deserves recognition. Great job to all of the workers at this location!

It was my mom’s bday on Xmas and we were very patient considering the day. Our server was a skinny, young man who kept walking around in circles with no sense of urgency. We waited 20 mins before he came to take our order and that’s because we asked him to take it before he took another lap. No refills for about 30 more mins. We sat down at 5 pm and didn’t get the first two plates (out 5) until 1 1/2 hours later and until we asked the manager to come speak to us. I have worked diners before and I know those two plates were sitting there under the lamps for some time. We got up and left at 7 pm, 2 hours after we were initially sat. My thing is, why have that many tables open if there’s not enough cooks? The other waitresses were taking care of their tables just right, we say in the back with the worst waiter ever.

We had a family breakfast with 3 generations and loved the experience. From chocolate chip pancakes for the kids to the big breakfast meals for the adults, the food was delicious and at perfect temperature. Service was friendly and checked in consistently throughout the meal. We had a special time with family and the restaurant was able to accommodate our mid-sized party with ease. Will be back!

I was standing there for 20+ min waiting to be sat with my older son. A couple walked in and was waiting for less than 5 min and a waitress walked up, looked around me and sat the other couple. The couple said I think they are waiting, I said yes, and she said its ok. I think they were family because they brought and handed her something. Another 10 minutes and still nothing. I ultimately left and never got seated. It was so bad.

The place is freezing, food is served hot but chills too quickly. Bathrooms are a mess. My over-easy eggs still had really runny egg white. The bacon was served with either floaters from grease or was cooked on an unscraped griddle. Our server was sweet and took care of us like a boss. (P.S. I have to say that the I Hop in waxahachie is Fantastic! I have had the opportunity in life to travel and eat in many home town restaurants and lots of cities! The cook which should be considered a Chief , is so talented not only timing the plates are always hot!!! Never greasy and the food is just perfect! To their stemmed vegetables with salmon to their pancakes stacks perfectly done! Waxahachie is lucky to have this I Hop! The wait staff are sweet as can be!⭐️👍😎
