This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Waxahachie. We always have the best service, the best food and the atmosphere is great. The upstairs dining area is really nice to sit if you want to sit outside. I believe it is covered or partly covered. I've only sat up there once, but enjoyed it. They really do have the best service.

Food is amazing and I am glad I came here for dinner. We couldn’t sit at the top due to the crowd and the staff but we enjoyed ourselves. It was a long wait due to incoming customers coming in with large parties and of course everyone wanted to sit at the top and the weather was nice!! Even though they were short staff I still enjoyed myself with my table.

The food in the service here was great. Very attentive, the chips never ran low, and our water glasses never went empty.This review would be five stars, except that when paying for the upgraded “top shelf margarita on the rocks“ the glass was quite small, and was filled to the brim with ice. I would say that it was half full of the actual drink at best… other than that, everything else was great!I had the carne asada, and it did not disappoint! Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The rice and beans were awesome, and even the free salsa was so tasty everyone at our table commented on it!It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area and hankering for Mexican or Tex-Mex!Dietary restrictions: As someone who eats gluten free, they easily accommodated my requests with corn tortillas instead of flour.
