Came in for lunch, and have always ordered the Caesar salad. The salad today came out with mega bread crumbs and no dressing. So many bread crumbs you couldn’t even see the lettuce! Never had this experience before at 511. The salmon piccata was very good, as usual.

Update: Dennis the manager contacted immediately after reading my review and asked us to come back and give them another chance so we did last night. Again the vibe/ambience was wonderful. This time the filet steak was very good, my wedge salad yummy and the chocolate dessert was decadent Thanks Dennis
Visited Prime 115 last night. Great vibes and great service (with one exception) had a great seat upstairs overlooking music. But as soon as we sat down the sommelier came up to us with an opened bottle of Chianti and tells us that someone else ordered this but after tasting they didn’t want it so perhaps we wanted it. No sir what a terrible way to sell a bottle. We ordered a couple of bourbon drinks instead. The appetizer was a potato croquet which was good but after that the food turned bad. The Caesar salad was bland the New York strip steak ($50) was tough and gristly The Mac cheese tasted like it came from a box. We might come back for the ambience and have a drink at bar but not to eat. Very disappointing!

I do have to say from beginning to end the experience was phenomenal ambience set perfectly, which made good night more enjoyable. I had a reservation set and my fiancé and myself showed up at that time it was set for our orders were taken in a timely manner. The drinks were made to perfection and the bartender took a special note to make things perfect. chef took things very personal and made some amazing appetizers for us that preset the move for a perfect entrée everything was made perfectly. The overall experience was second to none. I will be taking my family back to Prime 115 in the near future. I really appreciate the staff especially the Chef . Thank you for everything.

My husband and I recently moved to Waxahachie from Las Vegas, and while we absolutely love the charm of a smaller town, we’ve definitely missed some of the luxuries and ambiance of a big city. That’s why discovering Prime 115 felt like striking gold.
Housed in a beautiful historic building, Prime 115 is romantic, elegant, and instantly reminded us of the upscale casino steakhouses we used to frequent in Vegas. The food was absolutely superb—every bite was memorable. Our server, Monica, was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The GM and sommelier not only welcomed us like old friends, but also impressed us with their knowledge and passion for what they do.
To top it all off, the live entertainment—crooners singing Frank Sinatra and Rat Pack classics—was the cherry on top. It was like a little slice of our old home, now in our new one.
Whether you're looking for a classy night out, a romantic dinner, or just a great drink at the bar, I highly recommend this diamond of a place. We’ve definitely found our new go-to spot!

An Unforgettable Evening of Game & Whiskey Pairings
Prime 115 absolutely blew us away with their Wild Game Dinner & Whiskey Tasting! Every course was fresh, flavorful, and paired so thoughtfully with whiskey that you could taste how perfectly they complemented each other. The evening started with a crispy fried quail paired with Pops blended Canadian Whiskey — light, juicy, a slight kick of heat balanced with just the right touch of smoky sweetness. Then came a mini duck confit taco with Gran Maizal, which was tender, rich, and brightened with citrus and pickled radish. It was perfectly balanced by Gran Maizal’s toasty corn sweetness and spice. The venison pappardelle with Amrut Fusion was hearty, comforting, and paired so beautifully that each bite melted into the next sip. The whiskey essentially lifted and deepened the flavors at the same time. Then came the showstopper—a medium-rare elk loin served with grilled rib bone, roasted carrots, and a blackberry gastrique. The elk was tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. Paired with Baller American Single Malt, the whiskey’s dry, crisp style cut through the richness of the meat, while its subtle smoky and umami notes played beautifully against the sweetness of the blackberry. The result was an elevated harmony of flavors—refined, balanced, and unforgettable.
To end, the warm date cake was made from scratch at the restaurant with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce paired with Bladnoch. It was the perfect finishing touch. Sweet, smooth, and elegant, it wrapped up the night flawlessly. On top of the food, the ambiance was incredible. A live singer performing Frank Sinatra classics gave the evening such a warm, nostalgic, and upscale feel.
We’ve always loved Prime 115 for their regular menu, but this event was truly next level. It’s one of those dinners that leaves you thinking about it long after—and we’ve already signed up for the next one! And we can’t wait.

From the hostess to the bus service staff, this fine dining establishment clearly prioritizes customer care and service. Our server (Stefanie -sp?) was exceptional! She guided us through the menu like a pro and answered all of our questions with knowledgeable ease. We opted for filet mignon (cooked to perfection) with a side of brussel sprouts to share. Those sprouts were THE BEST we've ever had! Yes, SOME items on the menu were pricey, but don't let that keep you away because there are plenty of items on the menu that are very reasonable. If ever back in this area, we will definitely enjoy another meal at Prime 115!

Prime 115 is an absolute must, whether you're a local or just in town visiting. The drinks, food, and service are always top-notch. If you like white wine, I recommend the Terracotta Pinot Grigio. It's well balanced and fair priced.
