I went here when they were almost ready to close, but they were very nice and got my food that I needed to go. Their food is awesome. The ribs were moist. The pulled pork was moist. It was just delicious. Thanks for such an awesome meal

My group of four dined here on a Saturday; we showed up a little after one pm. We had to wait quite a while to be seated and were barely acknowledged by the staff. After being seated with menus, we waited…and waited…to have our order taken. Then we continued to wait. And wait. I was ready and willing to get up and leave after close to an hour when we hadn’t even been served our drinks. At one point the waiter asked us if we were ready pay before we had been served drinks or food! Our food FINALLY arrived. We had only ordered a sandwich meal and a kids meal and one extra side. The sausage was average but not very smoky. The green beans tasted canned and not special. My kid said the Mac n cheese was great, but it was an extremely small serving. This was a very disappointing bbq lunch that we waited over an hour for. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Ate lunch there on 4/4/24. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food took a long time to arrive, which is strange for a BBQ place. My food tasted fine, but my husband said his coleslaw tasted a little weird. A few hours later he became ill, vomited several times, and slept for 14 hrs straight and he felt unwell the following day. We were on holiday, it was a bummer.

The chopped brisket was excellent. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed a wonderful smoked bbq dinner. My kids loved the loaded nachos and the Mac and cheese.
Delicious BBQ, that was very reasonably priced. I got brisket, with two sides. My friend absolutely loved the Mac & Cheese. I enjoyed it too but she raved about it. The man who served us was very attentive. Next time I'm in Ennis, I'll have to try some other options on the menu.

I used to eat at their location when they were in downtown Waxahachie, and this was my first time since they have moved to Ennis. There was only one employee working all the front, but they werent busy. There was only two other tables occupied when I arrived for lunch and one guy left around the time I was seated.. I ordered the baked potato stuffed with chopped brisket. The guy working was friendly and prompt. I like that they are generous with their BBQ sauce and have a bottle on each table for your use. The brisket had a good taste, was tender and the amount generous. The brisket was hot but unfortunately the potato was not. It was only luke warm and wasnt even hot enough to melt the cheese on top. I was provided one tiny plastic condiment cup that was half filled for sour cream, and I dont know if the cook in back had put any butter on the potato or not as I saw no sign of any. They dont have any drink center where you can access it so I had to ask the guy for a refill on my tea. There also were no salt & pepper shakers on any of the tables so I had to ask for salt. The guy brought out another little cup with some really coarse salt in it - not quite as coarse as driveway salt but definitely not table salt. I used a little bit of it but the grains were too big and I ended up taking bites of salt, instead of flavoring the potato a little. The BBQ was good and I will definitely go back, I just found a couple of these things a bit - different ? Service was great, the BBQ was good, and maybe, next time, I might ask the server to take the potato back & heat it a bit more.

There on a friday nite around 6.30 pm already out of mack and cheese. Ordered sliced brisket. Asked waiter if sliced was from point or flat. He said point but it was definetly from the flat. Extremely dry need something to bring it back. Tried using sauce on table it didnt help. The flavor was good and the sides were good. Not sure why restaurants that are charging $15.00 for 1 meat and 2 sides want you to get your own utinsels and bus your own table . Seems to be the new normal.
