The food here is seriously atrocious i highly recommend NOT coming here if you can avoid it. the fried seafood is wayyy too salty and soggy somehow.. way overpriced for the quality of the food and a terribly long wait time (which im not even counting against them all that much since it was a dinner rush, even tho there was plenty of seating available.. i digress). the food itself is reason enough not to go. at least don’t get the fried seafood and the french fries. when i bit into my 2nd shrimp i seriously felt like i had just spooned a bunch of salt into my mouth i really wish i was overselling it but im being so honest. the french fries were like grease bombs since they’re so thin, there’s like no potato inside it’s just pooled up grease. not good. the catfish was soggy and very flavorless. one of us got a burger that was also super soggy, it looked like it was dropped on the ground and stepped on. i’m not ever someone to post a bad review so scathing but this was seriously, a waste of money. they really need to work on that menu, the price point is really really not adding up to me. at all. if the food is crap, that’s one thing. but for it to be crap at $25 - $30 a plate, that’s just absurd. i think an episode of kitchen nightmares could be filmed here. when i sent back my food i was told the manager would be out to speak with us but they never came by. our waitress was really nice and attentive though, her service was good and she was apologetic about the food as well.

My crown was unfortunately extremely overcooked. I informed them so they did bring me more, but it was still overcooked. My husband enjoyed his crawfish. I could tell it was fresher.

Kim at BB Tex-Orleans provided the absolute best service! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The food was amazing, but her awesome attitude and attention to detail truly made the experience stand out. I’ll definitely be back to see Kim again! ♥️♥️♥️

Our waiter had to be asked to bring silverware, our appetizer arrived with our meal, (obviously he never ordered it) and only after we asked about it 25 min after ordering. Never came to check on us. Food was, good though. But so another thousand other places. We'll not be returning.

reheated sysco food at it's worse somehow. i'm not enough of a snob to care that all of the food taste reheated but the fact that it's over salted and no flavor is crazy for a cajun spot. i was warned many time not to come and i shouldve listened, not to mention the exorbitant prices for again, reheated sysco food. $30 for a small fried catfish filet, 3 shrimp, a handful of crawfish and like 2 fried oysters is diabolical to say the least. the arnold palmer was good and my waitress was great.

Jhamal was a terrific server, the crawfish was great, and the butter cake was even better. 10/10 experience tonight!

This restaurant is the best Cajun spot in the area. Go see Madison at the bar, shes awesome! She may not let you leave without trying the bread pudding, but you wont regret it!!

I was really excited to come to BB’s today but left a little disappointed; there were a ton of dead/mushy crawfish in the boil as well as my 1 of crab clusters shell was completely mushy, you could bend the legs completely in half and they still would not break. With that being said the flavor was on point and the service was mostly solid, it did take over 20 minutes for our server to take our checks after dropping them off so the other person in my party (of 2) brought him the checks after a while. Our server had a great personality so nothing against him, I believe he may have just gotten really busy.

It was amazing here, me and my husband enjoyed the seafood, especially coming from people who deeply appreciate a great deal and a fat plate of seafood! Bianca, our server was attentive and asked about allergies before anything, she recommended some appetizers and I asked her for her opinions on what I should get! We loved it a lot and we are definitely coming back!

Not recommended. We had a party of nine. The server was inexperienced and was not attentive. The quality of the food, to be frank, was very poor. The cook did not know how to prepare Louisiana cuisine, and that is supposedly what they sell. The food was late in coming and came in dribs and drabs, not served professionally.

My wife and I had the fried shrimp baskets and it was terrible. How do you mess something like that up? You use frozen butterflied shrimp, and you overcook it. My daughter had étoufée which was inedible (highly seasoned with black pepper) and was returned. We have eaten Louisiana creole cuisine many many times and this was not it. Not even close. Nor was it a hybrid of Louisiana and Texas cuisines, which is what their restaurant’s name implies.

We will not go there again.
