if your looking for an old school texas ice house to sit back and forget the world for a few hours - then this local beer garden is for you. just a bunch of real people hanging out and enjoying each other. it’s a traditional ice house. plywood floors exposed ceiling g a few tvs a few pool tables. fry’s burger onion rings tater tots etc. most all food frozen prior to cooking. but pretty good (skip the onion rings). go enjoy and relax

First off, their online information states they offer open seating and dine-in service. I arrived and went up to the bar to order a simple burger and fries. I’m 19 and don’t drink, so when the man behind the counter asked if I was 21, that was understandable. However, he then told me I couldn’t be inside at all unless I was 21.
Nowhere on their Google profile does it mention being 21+ just to enter the establishment, especially if you’re only trying to order food. The burger itself was good, but I would’ve hoped for better service from the man—who I’m guessing is Carlos. So there I was, having to eat in my truck just because I wasn’t 21. 👎🏼 The whole interaction definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
I may be mistaken, but based on my first experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great place to watch a game or just come to relax and have a ice cold beer. Burgers are great and staff is very professional and nice. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure.
First time having lunch here. It’s an ice house, with amazing food. Specifically the steak and onion po boy (mostly referred to as Philly cheesesteak). I had the BLT, and the fries are super good! Comps to the Chef, will definitely be back for lunch.

stopped by here for the first time at the recommendation of a friend to try the steak and onion poboy and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious and the skinny fries are the bomb no ketchup needed. Bartender was busy but friendly and attentive so we will definitely be back to try the burgers...

Went for Steak night, first time here, so not sure what to expect, had no problem finding a table, lots of big tables inside and out, we sat down and was quickly asked our drink orders. Menus are on the tables, and was able o place an order when our drinks were brought. I had the grilled fish tacos and my husband had the steak special. We also tried the fried pickles. Pickles were OK, I have had better. Tasted like frozen ones, heavily battered. My fish tacos were Ok, the ordered comes with two. they come on corn tortillas, which is fine for me, but some people prefer flour, if so you may need to let server know this as I was not asked my preference. Fish tasted good, but, they come with no sides. My husband steak was very large, as was the baked potato. Flavor was good and for the price he thought it was good. Not the most tender steak, but not bad. We will come back, as we like the laid back, family friendly atmosphere.
