Ordered the wedge salad, it was mainly the core of the lettuce. I suppose they used the top part of the head for sandwichs. It was about a half piece of bacon. Very disappointing for $11.00. Will stick to Salt Grass wedge salad!

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after the lunch rush had passed and ordered an appetizer, two pizzas, and a pasta on the patio. The appetizer came out within ten minutes and was cooked perfectly, so we had high hopes. However, after waiting an additional 35 minutes with no food coming, my partner went inside to inquire. They said they hadn’t made it. They just… skipped it? No apologies, nothing conciliatory. They just asked if we wanted them to put it back in the queue again or refund us. We were pretty unimpressed and also very hungry so we said forget it, just refund us. And they refunded us only for the items they didn’t deliver. We might have considered returning had they been the slightest bit apologetic or had even a modicum of customer service, but it was a pretty disappointing experience overall!

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s not super wheelchair accessible- the patio is half high-tops and half picnic tables with long benches that force someone in a wheelchair to sit only at the end of the table instead of alongside everyone.

Great selection with pretty great pizza and pasta. We ended up getting the margherita pizza and pesto pasta.

We've eaten here before and loved it. But tonight they messed up our order, the Bretzel was dried out, and the beer mustard it came with tasted like something was wrong with it.

Don't bother with this place, their menu is a joke! Went there and ordered a salad but they were out of beets, so I ordered the pecan crusted fish but they were out of fish. Then my friend ordered something and they said they were out of the sauce that went with that so it was going to take about an hour for them to prepare it! LOL. We said thank you and left. That explains why the place looked empty when we first walked in!

Came to Hyde Park on a Sunday night. The patio was fairly busy, but the inside was nearly empty. Our party of five sat ourselves at a high-top table toward the back, and it took about five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When our waiter (I believe his name was James? Tall African-American man) finally arrived, the first thing he did was tell us—rather curtly—that we had to move because our party was "too big" for that table. No greeting, no pleasantries, just a directive to relocate. Not the warmest start, but okay.

After waiting another 10 minutes, James finally returned. I noticed they had a full bar, so I asked if they could make a simple piña colada on the rocks for my mother-in-law. His response? A flat-out, "Sorry, we don’t do custom drinks. We only make ones off the menu." Strange, considering most full bars accommodate basic requests. At this point, I was already considering leaving, but the group wanted to stay and try the pizza, so we settled for some seasonal cocktails instead.

We ordered two pizzas, an alfredo pasta, and a burger. Surprisingly, the food came out fairly quickly—probably the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The pizza had that signature char on the bottom, as if it were from a wood-fired oven, but the texture of the cheese and toppings felt oddly spongy, reminiscent of those $1 frozen pizzas from childhood. Definitely not the quality we expected. At least the toppings themselves were decent.

Now, about those cocktails… They finally arrived after we finished eating. Nearly a 20-minute wait. Not ideal.

While the mediocre food was disappointing, the real issue was the service. James never once refilled our waters, yet he somehow found plenty of time to entertain the small table of women next to us who were celebrating a birthday. I even watched him personally shake a custom birthday cocktail for them—for a solid 10 minutes! Funny, considering he told us custom drinks weren’t allowed. Even the table next to us seemed annoyed, waiting for him to take their order.

To top it off, we waited another 20 minutes for the check. At that point, I had given up and just went to the bartender to settle it. For the first time in my life, I left a $0 tip. Safe to say, I won’t be back.

Very good food. The service not so much. You need to order first directly at the cashier. And go there every time you want something extra. The cashier/bar tender was rude (bad mood). He was slamming things on the bar and even broke a glass. I paid for my drink and it was never delivered to my table. I needed to go back to the cashier/bar tender to complain. He finally gave me my drink but not in a good mood. Good food but not a good service.

Great pub! I liked the charcuterie plate and a dark beer. The only comment I have for this dish is that it needed a fresh element such as applee slices, grapes, or some kind of seasonal fruit. But it was OK without it. The pretzel was also good- house mustard was tasty and unique. I'll be back ?

Food was good but service on a Saturday night around 7pm is poor. Server brought wrong order, long wait for correct order, never checked on us for food liking or drink refills.

Food: I really enjoy their pizza. It's one of my top favorite pizzas. The pep is just perfect! Spaghetti for my personal taste, it tasted too 'sweet'. I am sure some people may appreciate it, but not my favorite
Service/Atmosphere: Second time we went to Hyde Park. This time, we decided to bring our pup Lyla. Outdoor seating is dog friendly. However, you have to order inside (pay inside) and they will drop of your food. There is no outdoor server service.
It worked out well with us since it was my fiancée and I went together (he was able to order inside). It may have been an obstacle if it was just one dog parent and the pup.
Outdoor is pretty nice, they do have a TV for entertainment

Not pet friendly. Staff refuses to serve anyone sitting outside. I unfortunately couldn't come in as it was just me and my 90 lb German shepherd. I couldn't leave him alone with all the children on the patio. The young lady who answered the phone said to me rudely "if we do any favors for you we will have to do them for everyone else."
Wrong. Find a better excuse.
I was told by a manager that for "legal reasons" they cannot serve on the patio. I guess that really depends on who you talk to as I've been served on the patio recently. I'm guessing if it's not busy enough they bend their own rule? Either way it's difficult to see how it would be a legal issue; I've lived next door to this establishment since opening and they certainly had full service on that patio in the past. I love the pizza and happy hour drinks here. But the wine prices are so overpriced that only when at half off they are comparable in price to other restaurants. Why pay 65 for a bottle that you can get at Taglia for 32.

Servers jump from table to table with no designated sections so service gets awkward. The menu is defidue for an overhaul. Only time that I would recommend Hyde Park is during happy hour and if you have room to sit at the bar. They cannot even accommodate large parties unless they sit outside and come in individually to order at the register.
