Tried Hyde Park twice. On our first visit, I had the Alfredo and a couple of appetizers—everything was hot, flavorful, and well-executed. That meal left a great impression, so I brought my wife back for a date night.
Unfortunately, the second time around was disappointing. We ordered the charcuterie board, which was a huge let down - have had much better / higher quality from HEB, the experience was let down by slow, inattentive service and lackluster presentation.
It’s clear they’re capable of putting out a great meal, but consistency and service fell short when it counted.

The outside sitting atmosphere looked very relaxed. Ate inside, seated immediately. The waiter was fast and answered our questions without missing a beat. The food camecquick. We had roasted corn, and the soup of the day was roasted corn. So creamy, and I wish I could have flown a gallon back to New York. The steak sandwich on the ciabatta roll was delicious.

Do yourself a favor if you come to location ,especially if JAMES is working , pizza was Burnt bad and he will give you an attitude like it’s your fault. He has a BAD ATTITUDE and does not care about hard working customers and Quick to tell you this is his last week and doesn’t care . Jacob definitely tried to save us as a customer but we will never come back .

I was immediately greeted and seated (see what I did there) my server was so nice and gave us recommendations for food that he really liked but I got the hand squeezed lemonade it was like lemonade from a kids stand we got a few appetizers the bruzzel sprouts (they weren’t my fave but I think a lot of others will like it), meatball and sauce which was so amazing definitely put some of the meat in the middle and sauce on top! The corn ribs were piled with seasoning which made it so good, but now time for the main I got pickle pizza which was amazing the garlic sauce was a hit to me I also got macaroni which was just how I like it white cheddar with bbq type stuff on it I got one of the sandwiches that was amazing too! But I wanted to thank the place for amazing service, food, and all the fun! Go check it out (btw it has a bar and a painting of Tupac) also dogs are allowed!
This is one of my favorite spots for dinner. They have the best pizza and wedge salads. The atmosphere is great and there is a gelato place next door. I LOVE this place!!

I had really enjoyed dining here previously. However, a togo order left me disappointed. $20 was expensive for pretty much 1.5 pieces of chicken and some broccoli. Also the name ‘Half’A Chicken was kind of misleading for such a small amount of chicken.

If you are not headed to New York for pizza, this is the place. Absolutely perfect crust; chewy, yet crispy, right amount of char, excellent ingredients including house-made sausage. Someone certainly knows what they’re doing in this kitchen.
