I have eaten here for 20+ years but the last two times the air conditioner has not been working. The employees are struggling in the heat. If I had a hard time enjoying my meal in that temperature then imagine what the cook feels like. Please do better.

My family and I normally love coming here. With that being said, my mother and I decided to bring my grandmother for lunch for her birthday and it is absolutely miserable inside. Their ac is out and it’s almost as hot as walking outside. No fans or anything to try to help patrons. Couldn’t even finish my meal. Barely could get my salad ate and had to bring my sandwich home. Was just too hot to sit there and eat a full meal.

I’m honestly at a loss for words — this location has really gone downhill. I stopped visiting for a while after previously seeing gnats inside the bread case at La Madeleine, which was already concerning. Today, I decided to give it another chance, but what I saw was unacceptable when i walked in there was bugs by the togo doordash orders i was in shock.
The attached photo shows numerous black dots — gnats — all over the condiment station. I had already paid for my food, and since it was close to closing time, I couldn’t get something else. It was so disgusting that I couldn’t even eat my meal.
This is a serious sanitation issue. The drains clearly need to be cleaned, traps need to be set, and the overall bug problem addressed immediately. It’s no surprise the restaurant was empty both today and during my last visit.
I will be contacting management to request a refund, as this experience was appalling. I truly hope this location takes immediate action to restore the cleanliness and standards.

Staff is rude The coffee was too watery. I mentioned it, and they remade it. The lady who brought it to the table just said, “We added four shots!” It was flavorless and still watery.
The food is cold (we got the chicken pesto pasta). I thought it was just the top part, but it was the whole thing. Since I returned the coffee, I felt embarrassed to return the food, too.
I go regularly to La Madeline nearby my house (San Felipe and Fountain view) that one NEVER disappoints; wrong decision thinking it might it be similar.
Crystal is a very accommodating manager. Staff and crew are very nice and helpful! Crystal recommended the Chicken Cordon Bleu baked pasta and was hands down one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. We will definitely be back!

Never enough sitting and tables inadequately placed to set 4 that seat one comfortably! The food not served hot but slightly warm and over priced for the quality and amount that other restaurants serve !
