I wish I could give this place a ZERO rating... Shakeel is very unprofessional, staff is very unprofessional and rude. Really bad customer service and Shakeel is arrogant. I called this place and asked their closing timings and their staff said 10pm. I went there 45 mins earlier and was placing order through door dash so I could get a discount and shakeel refused to take order when he heard door dash and started closing lights. He refused to take my order. I called this place before leaving my house, got there on time, was in the middle of placing order and as soon shakeel heard DoorDash he didn’t bother explaining me anything or to take my order. I am going to complain to DoorDash as well. False advertising, rude and unprofessional customer service... Shakeel shouldn’t even be a waiter I am surprised how he is running a place.

Honest opinion here; I have came here 5 times now and wanted to try several dishes before posting an honest review about consistency. So far every time I have come I have brought new people and had an opportunity to see many of Shakeels dishes. Every dish has been fantastic with only the best ingredients as Shakeel shops at many different places in the area to hand pick only the best ingredients... honestly the food is amazing. The pizza does take close to 50 minutes as Shakeel makes the dough from scratch once ordered. Just try the place and see for your self. Tell'em Jake sent you.

I'm sorry to say that the food we got from Leila's was not good at all. There was no flavor to the fajitas and the meat was tough and chewy. The salsa wasn't good either. How do you mess up salsa? The rice was flavorless and the beans had something in it that made my husband spit them out! With so many good Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants in Houston, it's obvious when one can't even compete. I looked at the reviews and thought this was a good place to try but felt so bad when my husband ended up barely touching his dinner! He couldn't even finish the flan or tres leches that I ordered. What a waste of $40+ I'm not really sure how this place has so many good reviews. I wish I could say that I would give them another chance but being burned once was enough for us.

This is possibly the best restaurant in the Clear Lake area. Shakeel's use of top quality ingredients ensures the food and flavors are always on point. We prefer this casual, genuine experience over other restaurants in the area. Shakeel is part of the appeal as not only is he a fantastic cook, but a fantastic host. Very friendly and generous, and he has a great sense of humor. We love the conversation as much as the delicious food. If you are looking for something great and refreshing, try it out. You won't be disappointed!

Delicious is but a word compared to the many depths of flavor in each bite..My #Gyros was perfect, from the toasted bread to the Made #fresh #Tzatziki sauce, juicy #Tomatoes, and crunchy fresh cucumbers...Now this #Seafood Stuffed #Avocado needs recognition from #FoodNetwork..The plate was perfectly seasoned from this rice to the beans.. There wasn't a thing I would change about this experience..Ok so as for that #beautiful plate of #Flan yes he made that with heart..Look these pictures wont do justice. This is a man with a passion for his food and his customers. Mexican food is his specialty, I have been raised on it. If you are enjoy something with a twist get the soft chicken tacos. They are a traditional Mexican soft chicken taco juices and all, infused with Indo-Pak spices and herbs. Come here and be treated like family where your glass is never empty and the food is always hot.
