Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!

The food is good (but pricey), the staff are friendly, service is quick. For the price I fell that there are better value options for BBQ in my area that are just as good if not better. This was a one and done place for me and my family.
I tried to make a table reservation online which did not accommodate 24 people. I called a couple of times and was told I had to make the special reservation 24 hrs in advance. When I spoke to the manager in person he told me he would do his best to have tables ready for our arrival. Needless to say, we waited about 40 mins and were seated an a more private room on two large tables that fit all of our family. Our waiter was Jonathan who did an excellent job. The food was good and they fulfilled several of our special requests, some in the second go around. We were very pleased with our food and atmosphere and will recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Chicken Fried Steak! Excellent service.Atmosphere was little noisy the last time went, but the place was packed. I did notice that they were cleaning the floor of the booths as they bussed the tables. Good move.

My waitress was very attentive to her friends but not my table. I was with my elderly mom and mother in law. Told the waitress that my chair was dirty she handed me a napkin. I ordered 2 to go meals . I noticed when I got home I did not get my sides. Our food was served I had to wait for utensils. Usually I have a great experience, service was so poor I don’t want to go back. My water was never refilled..never brought the bbq sauce.

I was absolutely mind blown on how good this place is. We came here for my birthday dinner and is hands down the best smokehouse I have ever been too. The boudain is out of this world and the deviled eggs with the melt in your mouth pork belly on top was soooo good!
