Was a pretty good place. Appears to have been sold recently and the food is not good. The sausage is terrible, brisket flavorless and the ribs are gone. Sides are bland and oddly lacking flavor. Don’t bother.

I stumbled across this place last week and ordered food. Nothing ordered was left uneaten. I highly recommend their beef brisket sandwich, and the chopped beef sandwich. If you're having a craving for some good smoked BBQ, don't hesitate to order here.
The guys at the register taking and making your order have been doing this far too long, they're very nice and friendly and experienced. The best thing about eating here, the prices are very reasonable.

Yeah, food was not good, they promote. Best ribs in town signs on the building and everything...but they were just bought out And now they don't sell nothing pork, don't know how you could run a bbq restaurant in Houston area and not have all the pork proteins. The sausage was awful the barbecue sauce was no good brisket was ok 5 out of 10.... turkey was really dry ... Honestly it's gonna be very hard to try to keep a barbecue restaurant with no pork protein but that's just my opinion... But we would definitely not go back...

Do not waste a penny of your money on the brisket here. They went from the best around to the worst in 2 months. The brisket used to be moist and wonderfoul and now is worse than a flavorless old chewy steak. What a dang shame. I don't think they'll ever recover from this mistake. I'm guessing that anyone that eats here going forward will be a once and done. They've been in the area since the 1980's but I think they will be gone soon with product like we experienced tonight. Sadness from a many decades customer.

I have driven by this place many time and today I decided to stop. BIG MISTAKE. This is why. First this meal was $18.94 with a fountain soft drink The services was ok, nothing real outstanding; nothing bad. The place was really clean; that was a big plus. Now for the food. I had the sliced brisket (moist). Good portion however. I have eaten Bar-B-Que in every region of this country and I can sayl by far this was some of the worst brisket I have ever had. No smoke taste. No smoke rimg to even sat there was smoking done. Tasted as though the meat had been boiled first the thrown on something to char the outside. It literly had NO taste. Now for the greens. They appeared to have been poured from a frozen bag. NO TASTE, NO TYPE of SEASONING, The greens them selves was more of shavings than actual greens. Now for the Mac&Cheese. HORRIBLE. Kraft from the box would have been better. So needless to say. I will not be back and would NEVER suggest this to any one I know.
Clear Lake staple. Great bbq. Value packs come in handy when hosting a party.
