I eat here more than anywhere else since I been in Texas.
I have tried multiple bbq places and still Ryan’s is so far my favorite smokehouse.
Friendly staff with lots of laughs and the owners are great people and down to earth best BBQ in Huston so far.

I was craving bbq so I came in tonight for dinner. I've known this was here, but it was my first time in. The gentleman serving me recommended they potato or the 2 meat plate. I went with the plate so he recommended the brisket and the ribs or sausage. Final decision was brisket and ribs, coleslaw and mac n cheese. Those ribs were fall off the bone tender. You could smell the smoke on them before taking a bite and they were absolutely delicious. I'd previously read some of the other reviews about the brisket. I did find it on the dry side. But, also I am not a huge brisket fan so take that with a grain of salt. The bbq sauce was a wonderful compliment to the meats. I love finding meats that are stellar on their own and the sauce just adds that little 🤌. The coleslaw and mac n cheese were your nostalgic bbq joint sides and I loved them. The service spoke for itself. Wonderful gentleman working tonight. I'll be back for more ribs and to try the rest of the meats one by one.

The food was not that great. We got here around early dinner time and they had no more sliced brisket. So we ordered the chopped brisket. It was dry and the Texas toast that was served with it was stale. The coleslaw was not to my taste but my friend liked it. The place looks like it had not been cleaned in years. There was so much dirt and dust. The outside was in need of repairs. The restroom was really not clean at all.

I ordered a chopped BBQ sandwich on plate to get 2 sides. They gave me two half pieces of bread and 2 piles of chopped beef. I also asked to cut the pickles, but want the onions. They gave me extra pickles and no onions. My advice is to check your order before you leave.

Omg the baked potato was deliciously amazing it melts in your mouth. Me and my son enjoyed it and it was big and loaded.
I got the two meat plate beef and sausage. Could not eat the beef. it was all fat and so bad. I won't be going back and I will tell my friends not to go there.🤢

We are visiting from Australia and we wanted to try this place and it definitely didn't disappointment. The food was delicious,the brisket was soft and melted in your mouth and the smoked chicken sandwich tasted as good as it looked. The sides that came with meal were a great accompliment. Customer service was great too. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
