We went for breakfast on March 30, 2025, the service was great and the food was even better! My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he said it was the best that he had ever had, that it was even better than his mom’s! If you ever have the chance, please go and check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed!
Great food, friendly staff, large portions.

The management is very unfriendly and rude it wasn’t busy enough for them to keep yelling about where people should stand and rushing you to order went for a meeting and before we could order our second drink we’re asked to take it outside while it’s raining and the way the man came to our table and loudly yes for us to take it outside in front of everyone was horrifyingly embarrassing we weren’t loud or disrespectful to anyone and weren’t even there an hour to be asked to leave a table! Snooze is definitely way better the staff is extremely kind we’ll have to take our money back there I wouldn’t recommend this place anyone not to mention the food is mediocre the sweet potato fries were hard as a rock the brisket skillet had baby bits of brisket in it you can’t even tell it’s there overall not good gave majority of it to my dog ! Thank you for a horrible experience

Very busy place so come early. I really appreciated that they put out cold water while you're waiting. We got the monte cristo and chicken and waffles
Both were amazing. The monte cristo has thick cut country ham with a spicy raspberry jam and the chicken and waffles were so tender, the rosemary on top was a nice touch. We will definitely come again amd to try out the pastries next time.
Staff was incredibly rude, passive aggressive, and oblivious.
Food was cold and stale. They served one person a full 20 minutes before they brought the rest of the table. And ignored requests to remove those used dishes, even while struggling to make room for the incoming.
Ridiculously poor experience.

The coffee was delicious and the food was great except for my poached eggs. The yolk was completely hard rather than runny or jammy. I would come back but specify that I don’t want my eggs over cooked.

So, wife wanted to try this place since she sees it every day on the way to work. I thought nothing of it. We went there and their ordering/seating situation is interesting. It is what it is, no big deal.
We sit down, get our coffee. The coffee was excellent.
A few minutes later we get our foods. I got the Water Oak Breakfast and she got the Biscuits and Gravy. The potatoes are excellent. They are crispy, well cooked and not overly salty or under seasoned. They come with a white sauce that tastes like a ranch tartar sauce or some kind of horseradish. It was good!
We both ordered over easy eggs. What we received were slightly cooked raw eggs. They also weren’t seasoned. The biscuit and bacon got were pretty good. However the gravy, was not seasoned. It tasted like nothing at all. We had to add salt and pepper just to get flavor out of it.
All of this came out to $55+. If they start seasoning their food we will come back for breakfast. However, we think the only reason we would come back here will be the Coffee which was excellent.

Pretty lunch place. A little on the expensive side. Food is OK, not fantastic considering the prices. The staff is friendly.
Parking: There is parking in the back that most people are unaware of.

We are from out of town and really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. The owners were so nice, they made room for our stroller. The portions were huge! Get the blueberry biscuits with some coffee. Also I appreciated the purse hooks under the table. Overall very clean, yummy food, and great place to come with a baby.
Kid-friendliness: There were high chairs and room for strollers.
