We love going to the Whistling Duck. The wine is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and the customer service is out of this world! John and Kerri are wonderful people and truly enjoy you being their guests! Whenever my husband and I have a chance we drive to the Duck, about a 1.5 hour drive to reenergize ourselves!
Wine and other options are award winning. It’s a great place to relax, eat a little, drink some wine and listen to some music and when it’s cooler great to stroll around or sit outside and enjoy God’s beauty. The staff is great and the owners are lovely people.

The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, making it a great place to visit with friends or for a peaceful getaway. The food options are impressive, with a standout charcuterie board that pairs perfectly with their wine. The winery also features other drink options for those who prefer something different. The staff is friendly, creating a warm environment that enhances the experience. The winery hosts events, such as bingo nights, and has a nicely designed tasting room with thoughtfully proportioned wine flights, including a flight tasting option that allows guests to explore the difference between dry and sweet wine. Live music often adds to the relaxed vibe, making it an enjoyable spot to hang out. Despite being a bit of a journey to get there, the scenic drive is well worth the effort for a relaxing escape from the city. Visitors are advised to bring larger vehicles, as the road can be bumpy.
