This place never answers the phone. I like their steak fingers but it’s hard to place a pick up order when no one picks up the phone. I don’t like to use third party ordering services, so that’s my only option to order when I want it to go. It’s just annoying to have to go in and wait. If you don’t want any business, just say that.

This was the first time we ate from here. My husband and I decided to ordered 2 burgers for takeout because he was sick. We had to do two separate orders because of the offer he got. Both orders said they were ready at 6:30, so I went and picked them up. When I got there I explained to the guy that they were to separate orders. He left to go get them, but after waiting 5 mins, someone else came out and said that they are just now making the order. I waited 10 more minutes for them to bring out only one order. I again explained we had another order, showed her the confirmation on the app. After 15 mins, at 7:15, the second burger came out, she dropped it on my the table, said sorry, and then quickly left to go to the back.
I waited 30 mins for an order that said was ready 30 minutes before. The first burger was then cold and soggy. I’m pretty frustrated. These were not cheap burgers, they were over $10 each without fries, that were cold and soggy. I get that they may not have received the order but I wish there was a little more done then just a “sorry”.
We will not be going back.

first and last time at this location. was not impressed in the slightest and extremely disappointed. after it took 30 minutes to get our food, my burger was wrong. the kid working the register told me what was on the burger so i agreed (he told me wrong). when i went to get it fixed, the woman scoffed at me, rolled her eyes, and made a big deal out of it. it took another 10 minutes to get a correct burger. the charred, inedible patty was from the original burger with new buns. buns were hot, meat was cold and burnt to a crisp. paid $20 for a burger and chicken fried steak when i could’ve gone to a neighbor’s cookout for a better burger. the seasoned fries they have on their menu is just regular fries and you out the tony seasoning on it, which is a bit ridiculous if you’re going to have it on the menu. i wanted some ice cream to eat least somewhat fill my belly but the ice cream was uncovered, full of what looked like dust, bugs, etc. and had been sitting there for days. skipped the ice cream and went home hungry. won’t be going back to this location.

My fiancé and I went here 7/09/24 and our experience was awful. The kid working the register was very rude. We waited about 45 minutes for a burger ( that was wrong and burnt) and a chicken fried steak ( that was pretty good). There were bugs ( flies, spiders, etc) all over the place. They were by the drinks, sauces, the windows, floors, on the tables. When we asked to have the burger remade the lady who took it was very rude she scoffed and rolled her eyes. I’m very disappointed I’ve heard so many good things about this place sad that it didn’t live up to the expectations.!

Great food in a quaint atmosphere. My Patty Melt was delicious. Other quests with me enjoyed the reg burger and the Tailgate. Fries and tots were tasty and crisp. Service was not expected but pleasantly provided with delivery of condiments. I hope you take the time to drop in and have a bite to eat.

Sorry no Pic. After the fact just had to chime in with a five star review. New to the BCS and have been checking out burger spots. I haven't been everywhere - still eyeing Margies and Top of the Hill for a burger, but have been to Koppe Bridge -both locations, Mooyah, C&J and Harvey Washbangers - all great burgers. TX Burger -1/3lb (seems bigger) with Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo and Ketchup may be the best of that bunch - particularly at the $6.50 price point. The Nolan Ryan beef was prepared perfectly, juicy and flavorful. The toppings were fresh and the smiling service, prompt, gracious and sweet. I forgot to leave a tip and will make up for it next time. There's curbside service and $.99 Blue Bell cups between 1p and 5p (I think) on Monday and Wednesdays. Hurry on down to TX Burger for one of their specialty burgers or standard burgers. Tell em' Petey sent ya.
