Just got finished being yelled at by the tatted up bearded cashier…for… I guess taking “too much time” deciding on toppings…..Exemplary customer service. I truly felt welcomed, lol.

If I want the employee snark, with actual good food, I would go to Casino El Camino.

First time visiting and I really liked my pokerrito! Fish quality was really good (I got the ahí and salmon), sauce and topping selection was also good. Just maybe composition of the roll was a little off so some flavors only came through in certain bites but truly a good meal and looked like good prices for everything. Lots of different options, including tofu for vegetarian, for bowls or the burrito/sushi-style version. I would gladly come back the next time I’m in the mood for poke!

Vegetarian options: I believe they only had tofu for protein, but good options to do vegan/veggie sauces, lots of veggies for toppings and quality all looked good. You can definitely put together a good vegetarian poke dish if that’s what you’re looking for!

Parking: Lots of good parking right in front of the restaurant in a parking lot. The area is pretty accessible too.

I ordered from this place off postmates with one of my promotions and was very disappointed to see that they did not include my seaweed salad and included a small amount of rice comparably to the rest of the bowl. However, I will say that i like the quality of the food. It just would have been nice to get all the toppings I ordered.

I'm definitely regular here. Their food is phenomenal! One note is that when I visited this Sunday the both gents that were building my dish looked like they were forced to work there, very unusual for the experience I usually get from the place. They seemed irritated that I didn't know the name of the toppings, and they were kind of rude. However, I dont care as it is the best poke place in town! Food is worthy even rudeness from their staff! However, kindness won't hurt if they use it.

By far the best Poke House location in Austin. I come here even though it's a little far from where I live because they've always treated me right on portions, extra requests, and fixing any issues with my order. You can tell the crew is happy to be there. ❤️❤️

Poke done right
I'm a fan of poke bowls but find them a bit pricey at times given what you get. Not so here, poke bowls are generous at a more reasonable price.
For instance, you can get a poke bowl for about the same price of a roll at a comparable restaurant. True the roll does require additional work but the bowl is easily twice the food with more variety of ingredients, as you like.
I'm a fan of salmon and find the quality to be pretty good here. I like my Salmon fatty and most days that's what you'll get.
The Chipotle build your own model gives you the ability to make it as you like. This setup lets you experiment with various flavors, poke house carries several different sauces for that extra zip. This one is a winner in my book.

Vegetarian options: Build your own bowl allows you to avoid ingredients as necessary. Tofu is available.

Happily surprised with the poke!! The fast-food kinda vibe is always a turn off for me, I don't eat the stuff. Eating well matters to me, so forcing myself to go to a fast food kinda feel place took some doing. But I'm so glad I did! I was rewarded with some good poke choices and lots of fresh additional toppings!! I chose the traditional tuna and the spicy tuna with lots of great toppings! The Sweet Ginger sauce was super yummy!!!!

This is one of my favorite places in Austin. Can’t beat the value for the price - excellent food fast. Super friendly service and it’s always clean inside and out.My go to spot for fish around here ??
