We stop here everytime we travel along I-35 between Dallas and Points south. Have for the past 30 years, and plan to for the next 30. Sausages, kolaches, breads, cakes... everything is fantastic. You know you need to stop anyway, so why not do it at the Czech Stop! Better than Buccees.

Absolutely the best real Kolachies in TX. Don't sleep on the meatball sub either.

If you love baked goods, this is the place to go!! The smells were amazing, there were lots of folks but the line went very fast! The cinnamon rolls and kolaches were AMAZING! Pecan pie didn’t disappoint! Can’t wait to go back!!

We thought stopping here would be the ultimate experience since it's been there so long. Not the case today. We chose meat and cheese kolaches. They were old and stale. The server added if we wanted them warmed up which we said yes we do. The old, stale kolaches were old and stale and not warmed up. What a huge let down. We will definitely avoid this place in the future.

We stop here on the way to and from the coast every year. They always have great food, and many different kinds. We usually get some baked goods, sausage, cheese, a dip, and then sandwiches to go. It’s more of a grocery store than a restaurant. It’s usually quite busy but they have a system that moves people right along. This time we parked right in front of thestore, but they have an overflow lot. Bathrooms are always clean too.

The service has went down over the years, sad because this place is a staple in Texas for anyone who drives thru West. The employees on the bakery side put off the I hate you and this job vibe.

The kolaches and bakery are still amazing. Will continue to stop for the tasty fruit koloaches though.

I suppose this place is somewhat critic-proof, but I do have to say I loved the kolaches I got and the whole atmosphere is wonderfully comfortable for travellers, especially this one, who was putting in a 16-hour drive today.

Interesting place. It’s not just a gas station but a full bakery! A friend told us to stop in on our way out of Texas. She said you would need to wind your way through the store because it would be crowded with customers and get in line to order. She was right! There were probably 15 people in line but there’s several people working so it didn’t take long to get your order. All kinds of baked goods and so good!
