We stopped in after visiting West because we read about the Oak Street Bakery and their delicious kolaches. They WERE tasty, but the service was fairly awful. My husband asked for a certain kolache and was informed there weren't any left despite us looking at one. When he pointed it out, she repeated,rather rudely, there weren't any. We paid and left and probably won't return.

She did an awesome job of explaining and helping us. Everything we got was great! Like my grandmother and mother make. And they are both Czech, and from the area.

While Iāve never heard is a place that serves food but has no place to wash handsā¦ this place has figured it out. They have food, yet zero facilities to wash your handsā¦. Go elsewhere.

This incredible bakery took our wedding cake order when we were really in a bind and only had a few weeks left. The tasting cupcakes were delicious and moist, and the cake was better than I could have hoped for - both beautiful and delicious. I absolutely recommend this bakery, and cannot wait until I'm in town again so I can try some of the other items they have to offer! ā¤
