“We ordered 3 dozen for my son’s birthday— the call put me at ease. “Sure! No problem!” I arrived two hours late. I called. Sure enough, it was “sure! No problem!” When I arrived, they had three dozen perfectly glazed and sprinkled donuts snuggled comfortably in boxes waiting for me to pick up. The place was clean, fun, and welcoming. Donuts are usually not my treat of choice, but I could not stop wanting more of that warm, gooey chewy dough. They really are delicious. So, we found our go-to donut shop!“

“This place is AWESOME. It is in a strip center so be sure to not drive right past it. The atmosphere gives a nostalgic retro vibe. Lots of toys and collectibles to look at (which is right in my wheelhouse.) Has seating room inside for you to enjoy your delicious donut selections. Lots of choices to choose from between filled, traditional and unique creations as well as sausage rolls and cinnamon rolls and I am sure more. Be sure to follow them on Facebook for their limited run donuts so you don't miss those. The quality is above any average run of the mill donut shop. You can tell they are made with unique recipes, care and attention. Soft pillowy and great tasting. The service is also very casual, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be going back frequently.“

I walked in with only glazed and chocolate left and no option to het cinnamon rolls substitute for donuts. Not even if you count it as 2 donuts.

However, the owner is VERY friendly and generous and pointed me to another donut shop nearby.“

... so...yep. Donut shop it was, indeed.
I woke up feeling like I was in the marketplace for some donuts. Turns out I was correct. I was smack dab in the middle of the market for donuts. So I went a-shopping and found KCDonuts, who was doing commerce in the field of donut distribution. Thus, we became natural business partners. To follow on the good faith deal we just struck. I treated myself to chocolate donut holes, and chocolate milk, and sausage rolls. I got high on my own supply.“

“Its a small cute shop that sells fried CAKE DONUTS. Not your typical donuts! That said, the donuts were fresh, delicious, and exactly what youd want in a fried treat!
The owner herself is kind and helpful, and the rest of the staff is friendly and polite.
Im a little sad we found this place right before we move states, or we'd be back often!“

“In the early 2000’s used to go every day on the walk to school and it was excellent. Recently went back to Lims for the first time in at-least 10 years. “Very lovely establishment, the son works behind the counter the father cooks all the donuts and the mom decorates the shop. It is very welcoming and where I am from most donut shops are bland and want you out of there. Had a great convo with the son and he was very generous. “I live in Hawaii and came to Fort Worth on vacation. We used to have a donut shop in Hawaii that served the best donuts in the state…..an old mom-n-pop bakery. They no longer exist and I never found another donut like that, until I tried Fort Worth Donuts. The glaze donuts are just like back home…..and my whole family agrees!“

“Such a sweet little donut shop! Person who helped us was so kind and friendly, had to get half a dozen donuts because she was so nice. They had really cute Halloween donuts too! Filled long John was awesome, you can choose your filling between raspberry and Bavarian crème.

Coffee was self serve from a coffee pot, but surprisingly delicious. Nice and cheap too.

The donuts themselves were fried perfectly, light and fluffy, with a great flavor. Not the type of place you would stop in and hang out for a long time, but perfect for a morning coffee run. Make sure you try some of the savory pastries too!

“The donuts were great. I showed up at 5:30 am, in the dark. It was hard to tell the shop was there. The large sign that names names the shop was not lit up. There is some kind of coating on the glass doors that makes it near impossible to see inside. If I did not have Google Maps on and leading me there, I would have drivin right past its doors with knowing it’s there.

Great food. Open at 5am. I hope the owner fixes the signage. He could draw a lot more traffic to his door with a lighted sign of some kind near the road. I hope he does and this place is here for years to come.“
