We recently stopped on our way through and found the food to be great! The ribs and smoked turkey were perfect! The cucumber salad and pinto beans were perfect! We took some dessert to go and it was just as good. I highly recommend getting lunch or dinner here!

Went there for lunch on Sundays. Was pretty crowded. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Food quality was good, and the portions were not too big, unlike other restaurants. The black eyed pea salad was very good.

Just called to make a order woman stated kitchen closes at 8:30pm stating they started cleaning. As a small town business I would say that’s incredibly terrible and needs changing. If you can’t order after 8:30pm then hinzes needs to show on everything that’s it closed.
Worst bbq I’ve ever had. I don’t get the hype. The brisket is dry, the sides are old and horrible as if they sat around for days. I don’t understand the locals that love this place. Disgusting. I tried it a second time and got a baked potato, they put the cheap processed block cheese. There’s a new bbq place that’s 1000x better and not dry.

The best thing about the meal was the blackberry cobbler. The rest wasn't all that great. The Chopped Beef sandwich was dry and the bun it was served on was stale/hard. The three meat plate was bland; the sausage and turkey had little flavor and appeared under smoked/cooked. The sides of yams, corn, baked beans and green beans were ok but nothing extraordinary. Next time, we'll keep driving and try something else down the road...
