Was kinda worried about the service after reading some of past reviews but Bridgette is the absolute best! They were out of prime rib but she offered a rib eye steak with crushed pepper and it was great. Beverages were kept full and finished dishes quickly removed. Friendly atmosphere, everyone appeared to know everyone just as it should be in a small town. Will definitely be returning and thank you Bridgette!
Food is great. Servers slow. Weren't many there yet and its a wait to be waited on and served. Charged us 3.75 for a tiny cup of French dressing I got off salad bar because server had forgotten to bring it. A few days later....same thing....but did notice one server was on the ball just not ours. We are foodies of small town restaurants. Hadn't been thru Wheeler in a long time. Heard on TV about this steakhouse. Was impressed as we drove into the parking lot. Clean, nice entrance to the building, well kept!
