“Had a craving for some good barbeque and thought I would give Katie's a try. Katie's did not disappoint. We got chopped and sliced beef sandwiches. They were awesome. There was almost a pound of meat on that thing. The sauce was tangy and not too sweet. Will definitely be back for more“

Definitely can not find BBQ like this back home in PA !!! I don't know what's in that special sauce for the haymaker sandwich but I could have drank it !!! Had to ask for extra, just so we could dip our sausage in it too !!!
Frito Pie was super flavorful, loaded with all the good stuff. Crispy slaw, and we had both types of beans [pinto and baked] delicious !!!
If you are ever in Tyler, this is a MUST. If I'm ever back, I will be here too !!!“

“Stanley’s is very good barbecue and slots in to the top tier of BBQ joints. The brisket was juicy and flavorful. The baby back ribs had the right combination of smokiness and a hint of sweet. The queue to place your order moved at a snail’s pace, especially when compared to some of the well oiled machines in Dallas that have it down to a science. There are plenty of seating options to satisfy whatever vibe you’re feeling. Stanley’s is a must visit whenever you’re in Tyler.“

“Ordered curbside. Turkey and brisket were really good. Didn’t get the lady’s name who brought our food out but she was super nice. They were real busy and she even thanked us for our patience. Will definitely be back .

“I had heard of this place and decided to try it out the next time I drove through Troup. WOW! These folks knocked it outa the park! I LOVE "chicken fried steak" with cream gravy and these folks really know how to do it right! Great fries, home made blackeye peas, and soft fluffy yeast rolls! The wife had BLT with onion rings and loved them. The young lady who waited on us is related to the owner and provided the kind of service that small town east Texas is famous for. We're looking forward to going back (and taking our friends/neighbors) with us. If you like country "comfort" food and small town ambience, this place might be what you're looking for!! (I even tipped the cook before I left!)

“Was about a 15 minute wait when we showed up (Saturday around 1:30). They have a waitlist you can put yourself on before you arrive. Service was good. My wife and I both ordered the filet to be cooked medium. Hers came out medium rare and mine came out medium well. Other than the steaks, everything else was great.“

“The food is great and the employees are really nice. For the price of the meals I would expect a server to come to my table to take my order and bring me my meal. This place is more like a cafeteria. Also the $5.95 for a bottle of Shiner Bock is way too much.“
