This is a gem in the middle of othwerwise quiet downtown. Everything is fresh and the staff all hustles to get the food and drinks out. If you go on a weekend morning you may have to wait in line but it moves quickly. Their strawberry waffles are delicious and my son enjoyed the french toast: we also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie, a brownie and a blueberry mudfin.
Overall it was a okay experience. The coffee was very well priced and smooth with a lot of flavor. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by that! We highly recommend the drip coffee. We also got a breakfast sandwich and a burrito. Both were very greasy, not warm, the burrito was not wrap properly, very soggy, and my sandwich had one piece of ham. Food was all around a disappointment. It more of a high end coffee shop than a sit down brunch location.
Tried 8th St for the first time today. I thought the coffee had a very good flavor and the breakfast toaster sandwich was super delicious! It had egg, bacon, avocado, and provolone on toasted sourdough. Highly recommend! The only downside was the price of the sandwich which was about $10 but the taste of the fresh quality ingredients may justify that! Also one thing to keep in mind if it's your first time there is that they do not let you order food in the drive through window,...
