The lunch specials come in clutch when dining on a budget. The food is good quality and the portions are plentiful. The service is ALWAYS more than hospitable. The store, the grounds and bathrooms are always clean.

It’s been the longest day working two jobs, and I was completely drained. I pulled up to Chicken express at 9:59, not realizing they closed at 10. I felt awful once I realized, especially after ordering a made-to-cook item — but the team was so kind, patient, and went above and beyond without hesitation. They had no idea the kind of day I’d had, but they showed me grace and served with genuine kindness. God bless them — I’m truly grateful for the best service tonight!

This location of Chicken Express is off of West Hwy 277 on the north side. Easy to get off and back on the highway. About 5 miles west of Hwy 287.
They usually have fairly quick service and they are frequently busy because of their location.
The food is made fresh, yummy, and moderately affordable. Fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried fish, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, and corn nuggets.
