Found this place on google while traveling from DFW to Oklahoma and thought we give it a try. The steak had good flavor as well as the quail. Onion rings seemed homemade and were yummy. Salad and dressing really could be worked on. Our table waitress was very nice. But when we arrived (we’re not “from here” aka “out of town”). We were treated like some strange aliens by the staff up front. The hostess seemed like she did not want us there at all, in fact didn’t speak...
It felt like I went back in time to where things were simple and good. No fuss or fancy, just good quality food at a fair price.
The steak was spot on both in seasoning and temp. The fixins were just right.
I'm glad I chose here and not the fancy steak house. This place brings back great memories of how our country used to be.
