“I was so happy to have real Mexican food outside of Southern California! The indoor is quite comfortable and convenient, since meals are delivered to your table and can be picked up via drive thru. The chips and horchata were fresh, as some Mexican restaurants buy their premade products. Tacos flameados were great tasting. It makes me want to come back to try their other dishes!“
“The food is delicious, it doesn't take long to deliver it to your table. The only complaint is that they lack cleaning in the place. There is a very friendly lady who cleans the tables and comes over to ask if everything is okay? However, the floor is super dirty, they also have cobwebs on the ceiling and that doesn't give a good impression. Anyway, I like to go there because you eat delicious food, super filling and for little money.“
“I’m typing this from the parking lot… BEST BURRITO EVER! “Julian’s Burrito” I’ve been all over Texas, New Mexico, Southern California… dam. Giant Homemade flour tortillas wrapped around like a 2lb burrito and it is cheap for all that it is. I didn’t even use the salsa but my wife said it was good. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area. The service was fast and friendly as well.“
“Placed a pick up order to-go. Sausage, Egg, Cheese and Potato. Size of the burrito was huge so you may want to ask about the sizes(small vs Large) or share one, or have leftovers! ?Very worth the wait if there is a line. So be patient. Service was great.“
“This is an awesome little local fave. The first of two locations, this eatery has an old Mexico feel. Their breakfast is especially good. My faves are the steak omelets and chilaquiles. Can't go wrong. And their corn chips are made in-house, I believe. Very good.Vegetarian options: Meat is a staple here, tho I believe it is possible to order special to avoid it. Potatoes, rice, and beans, eggs, and veggie fajitas.“
“We ordered the Colorado plate. Pork was tender. The rice was tasty. The beans had a great flavor and the Green Chile sauce was the best I've ever eaten. The chips are fresh fried flour tortillas.Go eat some real home style Mexican food.“
“Walk in taco has the best street tacos in town! The guys who run it are always extremely nice and the prices are reasonable. I have nothing bad to say about them! I’ve been a handful of times, not once have I had a bad experience! Don’t walk, run to get you some!“
“Really great restaurant. Service was top notch and very attentive. The food was pretty good. Definitely a lot for the price. They do have an all you can eat buffet but we did entrees which were worth it. Food is tasty and atmosphere is great.“
“I'm a regular here and I cannot sing enough praise about the tacos here, especially the tacos al pastor. The marinade, the corn tortillas, the beans, the rice, the chips, and the salsas all taste incredibly fresh, traditional, and homemade (be careful if you're sensitive to heat, especially with the salsas). The staff here are kind, attentive, and always happy to chat with their customers. These are genuinely the best tacos in Wichita Falls and it's not even close.“
“ Rave?Shout out to [El Pueblo Mexican Kitchen] Just discovered this restaurant earlier today. My family and I loved it.Great and helpful staff, very attentive. The food was delicious and most importantly Authentic! They blow some places in Wichita falls outta the water. Give them a shot. ?“
“Small town business with huge flavors! Love everything I have tried and the things that my family has tried they have loved! Go enjoy a treat! You deserve it! The employees are so sweet too. It’s a hidden treasure in our town!Dietary restrictions: They have dairy and gluten free options!“
“Nice kind and amazing customer service and food on point food is lit no cap no lie the food truck is good recommended by me overall Good food truck to eat at bring family and friendsthey will like the food as well. Food hit different which is good.“
“Overall I really enjoyed the food! The meat was a little more on the dry side but nothing salsa couldn't fix ? the Verde had a nice flavor as well. The burrito was tasty tho I wish the tortilla was warmed a bit more / softer. It was very good tho regardless :)“
“The food here is amazing!! I am from Dallas and was shocked when i moved to Wichita Falls and could not find any authentic Mexican food until i came here! It felt like my mom’s cooking and although me & my husband went at an inconvenient time almost at closing, they were not rude but instead super nice and did not rush us to leave. I would definitely recommend this place!“
“So I like hitting little restaurants, mom and pop as it were. Pioneer NO.3 is pretty old school. Don't know if it's changed much since 1949 when it says it opened, don't even know if they've redone the parking lot... it's not a bad thing. You can get some semis in there. The service is what you would expect in a small town diner, not hovering over you, but very responsive.I had the Catfish Basket, 5 pieces light golden brown, tasted like corn meal with maybe a touch of flour, 3 hush puppies, and fries (also a light golden color). I wouldn't call the basket amazing, but it was solid. Had to get the onion rings, smaller in size and thickness, but not over cooked, moderate on the breading and the onion shined thru. All washed down with very nice sweet tea.All in all it was solid, but next time I come by I'll try the recommended fried steak, just because.“
“Can't say enough about this place. Not fast food and worth any wait time. Food absolutely delicious, big portions, creamy beans, guacamole fresh and fantastic, friendly and inviting staff, worth every penny. Can't wait to try some other dishes. Cooks are amazing. Best kept secret in town. Not fancy and it doesn't need to be - didn't see one fly and felt very safe.“
