The Highlander Public House is a popular spot for special occasions due to its fantastic food, great service, and impressive drink selection. The restaurant offers a variety of tasty meals, with favorites like Chicken & Waffles, Highlander pie, and the bacon and egg burger with fries, which are highly recommended. The ambiance tends to improve during peak hours, attracting a steady stream of customers, making it lively and inviting. Recently, the staff has been praised for their attentiveness, with servers like Tiffany C and MiMi providing outstanding service, checking on guests without being intrusive. Meals are often described as tender, juicy, and more than enough to satisfy, with dishes like fish and chips, pork chops with Guinness gravy, and fried Brussel sprouts receiving high praise. The restaurant also shows appreciation for veterans by offering a military discount. Overall, The Highlander provides a satisfying dining experience, though there is room for improvement in wait times and bathroom cleanliness.
