Wave on Lake Conroe

The atmosphere is just breathtaking..the view of Lake Conroe is astounding. Buuuuutt..the staff superceeds even that if you can imagine. We had a great time 3 birthday celebration in our family Saturday September 20th. I mean awesome the food and the service was so great..fresh food right on time when you get out of the pool ...unfortunately my son left his expensive i phone watch behind !! The staff and people there were so honest and full of integrity and honor thet the watch was there at the counter !!!!! I picked it up monday with a ransom lol..Shout out to Jory...Ben and Brooke the staff made this a very pleasant experience and a memorable moments thank Yall forever 💖

The place is very well located but the waitress who was named Cianna who attended us never took us exactly what we asked for, she was very poorly dressed and did not respect when my husband was on his way to the bathroom she went and asked him why she left her a very bad tip, I can say that it was a very bad experience, I will not return to this place.

Our waitress Dakota did a good job. The environment was really open Clearview to the water. You also boat access. Food was good and they were dog friendly. They even made a plate from our dog. They had a pool too.

I have been going to the wave for years now and its really breaking my heart. Heres the good, bad, and ugly...

The food is good, actually its really good! Burgers, Nachos, Shrimp Boil, Tacos, French Fries... its really good. The service is fine, everyone is friendly and helpful.

BUT... everything else is really bad. Like broken down, dirty, unclean, stained, run down...Bad.

Please, keep the pool clean, mop the floors, wipe the tables, fix the broken... everything is broken just fix it...and clean the pool!! The best thing about this place IS THE POOL, and its disgusting...

This is one of the most enjoyable places we have been since returning to live in Texas. As a retired military couple we have been to beach bars all over the world and we loved it as much as bar grills in Guam, Phucket, west shore of Oahu, San Diego and American Samoa. Excellent food! We feel they have the best jalapeno stuffed peppers we have ever had. Fried shrimp was fresh and we decided there was old bay seasoning on the fries...very tasty. Service was friendly and excellent as well. The Wave is going.to have to get used to us as it is a favorite. A well kep secret thanks to some off key out of staters reviews..so far off that they feel malicious to me.... Prices reasonable and in keeping with other local eatery's. Dead wrong! Great place to hang out for nice people!

While this place may not offer Michelin star rated meals or the service on the level of the Bürgenstock in Switzerland, it spoils you with an amazing location. Sunsets over the lake!

This was the most filthy restaurant I have ever been in! Everything outdoors is broken down and in need of much maintenance. There are dead insects and cobwebs everywhere! On the table that we sat at. There were cobwebs on the chairs and dead bugs. The waitress made a half-hearted attempt to wipe things off. Service was slow at best. Food was bad. And overpriced! We didn't see the kitchen and we cannot imagine what kind of filthy conditions were there. This place needs to be shut down. Avoid it at all costs

this was the dirtiest filthiest restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. there were dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere. there was no maintenance done. the deck s were rotten and filthy. service was terrible. food was awful. I cannot imagine how unsanitary the kitchen must be! avoid this place at all. costs absolutely!
