I’m from a border town, and this is one of the few places that reminds me of the food back home. It’s authentic, and tastes like a home cooked meal that i would have with my own family back home. Clean & friendly Mexican food establishment with a variety of delishious selections, and they have house-made tortillas. They serve fresh hot chips and two different salsa's, one is super spicy, the other more mild. Table service, pay at the counter.
Was in town for a wedding. Looking for something off the tourist row. Found this great restaurant. Had breakfast. Very good food. Great service!! While we were there, some Mariachis came in. That was an added bonus.
After a walk on Cypress Creek, went back for lunch. Good prices. Would definitely recommend if you are in town or just passing through.
