If you’re looking for authentic Dhaba-style food, this is the place to be! We were traveling from Oklahoma to Louisiana and were worried about the lack of non-chain restaurant options. To our delight, we found this gem—and the food was amazing. We ordered Tandoori Roti, Regular Roti, Baingan Bharta, and Dal Tadka, and everything was packed with flavor. However, the washrooms were quite disappointing, so this is best suited for a food stop rather than a full rest break.
We got the tandoori chicken, chicken curry, channa masala, and garlic naan. Unfortunately, the tandoori chicken was just... bad. It was clearly not cooked right then, probably re-heated as others have mentioned. It tasted like old chicken, it was tough, and had no flavor. We had to throw it out. I get that some menu items are difficult to prepare if you don't have much traffic through the restaurant but why have it on your menu in the first place. You are better off just...
Excellent Indian food. We had the butter chicken, chicken tiki masala, bakra achar, and biryani. All were excellent and spice levels were made to request. Garlic naan was delicious!
