We stopped here to eat lunch on the way to Austin, TX. We are traveling from Virginia so this was quite a treat to find Dhaba style restaurant in a gas station. There were plenty of others customers enjoying the food there. The staff is very friendly and even helped the our family pics on the traditional Indian cots. Dhaba Mitran Da offers authentic Punjabi food that’s full of flavor. The mix parantha and chai are excellent, and the dal makhani is spot on. Great service, and the owner is very welcoming- a true Punjabi swaad experience!
Food is decent and self serve. Liked the dal tadka and shahi paneer. Butter tawa roti was soft and hot.
Restrooms need a big improvement. There was foul smell. It also offers shower options for truckers.
