It doesn’t really feel like crawfish season until the Crawfish Hole opens its doors! The crawfish here is always seasoned to perfection, and don’t even get me started on the crawfish grilled cheese — it’s a must-try! I love that they offer a drive-thru option, too. Absolutely phenomenal every time!
Man, what great place. Its just the kind of place you want to go to eat crawfish. Some may pass and think its just a hole in the wall kinda place, but you get in and there is plenty of room. You listen to all of the locals catching up across tables, you see the families who know the staff, so much laughter and family fun. Then comes the food... i eat crawfish three times a week from the time any restaurant starts selling to the time they all stop. I know what good crawfish are...
This was a memorable experience. Never had crawfish before and I opted for the "special" which had 2 lbs of crawfish, 1/4 of shrimp and assorted sides. Fortunately my dinner companion helped because it was too much food for me. They helped with a pair of plastic gloves to dismantle the crawfish. The taste was great, lots of butter and garlic and the price was very reasonable.
