Cute little hole in the wall. Great service, chips & salsa. Chile relleno a no. Beef enchiladas fair. I am a gringo, so probably used to TexMex & this place is probably MexMex.
The service is fast and friendly. The food is always delicious. Truly a gem of place.
Vegetarian options: They have some dishes that are naturally vegetarian. Others are easily modified. They are very accommodating.
Kid-friendliness: It's bright and colorful inside. If your kiddos like Mexican food, it's a great spot for them.

This isn't the best Mexican food in Texas, but it's the best in Winnie. Their beef enchilada had grated cheese on top, rather than enchilada sauce, and was too dry, but their enchiladas verdes had a great green sauce, and they gladly gave us some extra sauce. It's apparently a family-run place, very friendly, with spotless restrooms, and the best thing is they have an ice-cream shop on the way in/out.
