2nd chance. It was horrible both times. Tonight was a take out order missing half the order. Fajitas tough as nails and NO flavor. We got 3 hard flour tortillas (for 2 people), no guacamole (they didn’t have any). Ohhh and the chips… What a joke! Not Eve a tablespoon of pico de gallo! I won’t even comment on the first time there because they had just opened.

First time here, and they didn’t disappoint! They opened up early for us because we accidentally showed up before they opened. I had the birria tacos and my husband had the beef tacos. So so good! 10/10 recommend!! We will def be back!

I happened to win a Facebook giveaway of the mixed fajita plate. First time to try Las Cazuelas; I was impressed! They out shine the other choices available in Winnie. I got it to go & everything was hot & fresh. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend that you go try it out!

This place was a pleasant surprise and a breath of fresh air for downtown Broadway, in Winnie TX... most of the shops on this old Main Street have been closed for years so it's good to see it starting to blossom again...speaking of blossoms one can't help but notice the beautiful mandaville (sp.?) vines putting on a show in their festive painted Mexican pots as you approach the entrance and the very smooth Mexican cantina (that I wasn't expecting) as I entered but definitely made me feel like an Icy margarita or pina colada could be enjoyed there... you pass through it and on to the modest but well appointed dinning area with the kitchen behind it... now the food just tops it all off by being fresh, and what seems to be all hand made...the corn tortillas that wrapped my beef enchiladas where so fresh and moist that they made you want to eat the tortillas just by themselves... I have only once had corn tortillas that were like that... and the charro beans weren't overly seasoned but were soft and you could taste the bean itself... and the Spanish rice was the same way lightly seasoned but moist and you could taste the rice's flavor... the entire staff was bright, friendly and energetic and the food was served very promptly... I translated the name and it means "the casserole" in English and when I asked the waitress about the name she said it is also the name of an area in Mexico where they are from...I'm sure these girls will have a successful business... So keep up the good work I give them a big two thumbs up!

so pleased with the food and service. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and taco salad. The cocktail was so full of shrimp it was almost a meal. My mom was going to order off the menu and happened to mention she didn't see the chiles rellenos. Staff went back to see if they were available. Mom really enjoyed her Chile relleno.

The menu is small, but had the basic texmex fare. I had the taco salad. I asked for extra lettuce and it was excellent! Came with guacamole, sour cream and queso, in a large tortilla bowl. Hubby had the beef enchiladas and I had a bite. They were excellent, too! Great place, friendly service and a clean, bright atmosphere. The bathroom was spotless, too! We will definitely be back!
