Macho's Mexican Restaurant

We're from San Antonio driving thru Winnie TX so we stopped at this restaurant to eat the food was HORRIBLE!!
The beans were out of a can the taco shells were not home made the plate WASN'T worth $13 they charged. I recommend eating somewhere else..not real mexican food

Great place

Probably a 4 star establishment. They were very nice and the food was very good. Portion size was decent. Their food comes out very quickly. I ordered the taco salad with beef, was very good. Their chips and salsa is good too. Salsa was on the spicy side which is good for me. I will continue to visit this establishment.

We often pick up tamales from here! Our family loves them.

Friendly staff and great food. Our go-to for fried mushrooms!

Wow I found another hidden gem ? I just ordered two chimichanga steak meals they come packed with seasoned steak and cheese on top and rice on the side I also ordered The queso and the sopapills every thing was fresh and so delicious ? if your in the mood for Mexican food this place will not disappoint!!!? oh yea the specials are the bomb ? ?

We love Macho's SO much! For close to two decades we've been eating here, and there isn't one person that I've brought to eat that hasn't really enjoyed it. Best queso, spicy salsa, and there's so many great dishes to eat! We'll always come back to Macho's when we're craving TexMex. ?

Drove all the way over here after finding it on Google search and looking over the website and menu items that it had listed online but i was disappointed and a little mad when i actually got there because there was a sign on the door that said "Cash Only", so I was basically turned away before even going in. I don't understand WHY that major piece of information was NOT mentioned ANYWHERE at all on the website, so it was a wasted trip with bad results and I will not be going back. If anyone wants Mexican food but plans to pay with a debit or credit card, DON'T TRY TO EAT HERE.
