It was alright bbq. Not amazing but not bad either. Staff was nice and the sweet tea was actually really good. I’d go again.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Galveston for the day. Excellent brisket, turkey, and mac & cheese. The pork belly green beans side is a meal all on its own.We will definitely be back when we're in town!

Establishment is clean and inviting to stay and eat although I had a to-go order. Enjoyed the brisket and turkey a great deal. Not a big fan of the ribs as I don’t enjoy as much chew as they had and the thick rub came off somewhat pasty when eaten. Homemade BBQ sauce was great but wish they had provided a little more given the amount of meat purchased. Had the potato salad and baked beans which were decent. Skip the bread as it is dense and not flavorful.

Great service and great bbq. The brisket is executed very well, with great smoke and delicious seasoning. The ribs are as about as close to perfect as you can get. The green beans are highly recommended. The sausages are good as well. Upon visiting it is no wonder that Mout’s is already on the radar of Texas Monthly. It is a rare and welcomed addition to this part of Texas that has often been sparse in legit TX BBQ offerings.So put on your boots and scoot down to Mout’s for some darn good bbq.

My Wife and I are BBQ people. When Texas Monthly says the BBQ is good we try it. We just so happen to currently live in Winnie and never had the opportunity to swing by. We will not make that mistake again. I have been to over 25 of the top 50 list BBQ Joints and this place deserves a spot with them. The brisket is smoked perfect and the fat is rendered to a moist bite. Chicken is great Turkey is good and the Ribs are Texas Style with a nice pepper finish. The stand out was the Sausage both the beef and alligator sausage had a great snap in the casing and was full of flavor. I am guessing they add fat to the alligator because i was expecting it to be dry and it was not.As for the sides get all of them. They are all top notch and I would be surprised if they were not twists on old family recipes. Service was great. They have been in Texas Monthly so if you are local go give them a try before the lines show up. I truly believe the only thing holding them back right now is the lack of word of mouth that the BBQ community brings.

Went to this place thinking BBQ was being served. However, only brisket burgers and brisket corn dogs are available on Wednesdays. Burger was great, but a tad salty. Had to ask for extra sauce to add on burger. Combo came with Zapps chips and a drink. Will return to try other items. Clean restroom and nice decor.
