“I found this local spot and decided to take my wife for a nice breakfast/coffee surprise. It was such a great decision! The Hive is the cutest and coziest coffee/brunch shop! The people there are so very helpful and lovely to speak with! It’s one of those places where you can forget about your worries for a bit and just slow down and relax. Btw, the place was so good I had to run by again before my wife and I left town. You MUST check it out!”

“First of all the smell when I walked in was like home. I could smell the flavor and the seasoning it was so captivating. The first course arrives, (appetizer) CROSTINI: grilled focaccia topped with jalapeño goat cheese smothered in a rich homemade marinara sauce!!!!!😋and it’s like a tiny masterpiece on a plate. The second course the PECAN TOPPED SALMON: wild caught Alaskan salmon topped with pesto and a pecan crust absolutely cooked to perfection. The flavors are layered, fresh, and vibrant. Each bite is a perfect balance of textures and tastes that somehow both surprise and comfort you at the same time. The German brown bread with maple butter on top was the right amount of sweetness. Again😋….. The whole experience lingers with you long after you’ve finished. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an event. And when you leave, you can’t help but feel grateful, as if you’ve just had the privilege of experiencing something rare and extraordinary. “We were in Marshall tonight seeing the Clydesdyles. We just hoped we could get in at a place and this place was it! Joseph was so personable and took care of us! Thank you to his staff that also took amazing care of us!”

“Today was my first visit after hearing about the place for a long time. I got the fried ribs with 2 sides and a drink, then got a side of chicken spaghetti and a piece of strawberry cake. The fried ribs and chicken spaghetti both were excellent. The ribs were super tender, and the spaghetti had chicken in pretty much every bite. The strawberry cake was the best I've ever had, without a doubt. Staff was super friendly. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you give this place a try.”

As a new resident in Marshall, I was craving a burger and wanted something different. I stumbled upon Jucys and was pleasantly surprised!

**Pros:** The prices are reasonable, and the youthful staff was super nice and welcoming. Most importantly, the food was fantastic! I came in for a burger, and it did not disappoint.

**Cons:** If I had to nitpick, I’d love to see a broader range of music. But honestly, the atmosphere was still great overall. Highly recommend!

“Without a doubt, the place to go for your BBQ needs! The ribs (which is what we got both times) were moist, nice and smokey and so tender! Delicious!! We stopped by while camping at Caddo Lake State Park and are so glad we did! If we lived closer (Colorado Springs is a bit far...lol) This would be our go to place all the time!. Will and Lucy are very nice and the prices are great. Definitely recommend!”

“Fantastic food and an overall great experience at Riverport BBQ. The sliced brisket sandwich was outstanding, tender, flavorful, and generously portioned. The young lady who served us and brought our food to the table was cheerful, attentive, and kind despite how busy it was, and I truly wish I had gotten her name. When I asked for onions and pickles, she happily grabbed them, which made us feel genuinely welcomed.

Unfortunately, the cashier and order taker (I believe her name was Crystal) was the only downside. As first-time visitors, we asked a few simple menu questions, but her tone and impatience made us feel uncomfortable, especially while on vacation. After reading other reviews, it seems this has been a recurring issue.

I am still giving five stars because it would not be fair to the owner or the wonderful server we had to let one role overshadow an otherwise excellent experience. My sincere hope is that Crystal finds a position where she can be truly effective, perhaps one that does not require frequent customer interaction. That would benefit both her and Riverport BBQ.

If the order-taking experience had been pleasant, this place would be absolutely perfect. We would happily return for the brisket and the wonderful owner alone.”

“I live in Florida and found Soul Palace on the Internet with great reviews. Five of us went on April 11 and sat outside at the picnic tables. Absolutely love love loved the catfish and the burgers got rave reviews from the folks with me. I would highly recommend it as a great place to have a casual burger or that wonderful catfish at a great price!”

I really enjoyed my chocolate cupcake and the opportunity to eat it in such a distinctive place as a red double-decker bus that provided an atmosphere of uniqueness, both inside and out. I strongly recommend RBC for events and casual dining!

As an aside, the employees are kind and thoughtful. Not only were they positive and helpful in fulfilling my order, but the owner also sent me a credit card I left on the bus (most expeditiously, I’ll add) without any charge nor hassle. She even checked that I had received it!”
