Hat Creek Waco is an awesome place for families. We took our granddaughters, ages 5 and 3. They loved the food and the playground. My wife and I enjoyed everything, especially the fried pickles. The staff was super friendly and fun. They looked like they were enjoying their work and that made us as guests enjoy it even more. Five stars.

The burger and sweet potato fries were delicious ( generous servings). Prices are reasonable. Staff were friendly and seemed to be enjoying their job. It was a bit noisy. But with all the kiddos there that is to be expected. The outdoor dining by the playground is definitely a good idea. Overall a pleasant experience. Will definitely go back.

Didn't really know what to expect. But goodness, really flavorful burger with fresh sweet potatoe fries..YUMMY! Sat outside under the heated patio and enjoyed the clean area and some kids playing too. Just overall great experience and have been back repeatedly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Get rid of the stray cats! Everything was fine except I ordered a milkshake & the machine wasn't even on so before we left, like 20 minutes later, I still didn't have my drink so I went in & I got something else. They could have told me the machine wasn't on & how long it'd be but they didn't & most importantly y'all need to trap & get rid of those feral cats out there! That's a lawsuit waiting to happen if one scratches a kid plus the cats were walking on the tables begging for food. I like cats but not strays in my eating area! You know cats use thier paws to cover their feces right?? The heats outside were very nice though since it was chilly outside. Just do something about the cats.

Love this place and I absolutely love the Keto bowls. The people are wonderful and the service is great. There is a place for the kids to play and they even have happy hour! You can sit inside or out. It is a great place for the kids. The parents can watch the kids play and still have a little time for themselves with some great food and drinks!
Outside was a little dirty, but the food was great and my kids loved the playground.

We had such an awesome time! I have been to other locations while living in ATX and DFW area, and truthfully I’m confident to say this one has been the best I’ve gone to. I’ve been in Waco for a while now and kept meaning to go. Well, I should’ve gone sooner. The food was amazing, hot, and very good quality. The service we got was on point. Maribel (hope I spelled correctly) was on top of it! Anything we needed or any time we had to return to the counter she stopped what she doing to ensure we were taken care of. The playground area was very nice and well maintained. The whole place was super clean, and I didn’t even feel the need to sanitize every single surface before the kids touched it. Shout out to the team members for genuinely caring for their workspace. Trash bins, counters, seating areas, and open kitchen all looked great. I was super impressed. We will add this to our regular spots to visit. See you again soon!
