I really wanted to enjoy Lounge 93, but was turned away because of a no laptop policy. I walked in Wednesday around 7:30 and was the only person in the bar besides the staff. The place was nicely done and the menu looked intriguing. The bartender kindly told me that they do not allow electronics to keep the vibe social. I can respect this policy if the place had anyone to be social with, but as stated, I was the only guest in the building. I would have gladly put my device away if a crowd showed up. I ended up leaving and having dinner and drinks at the place next door (which was fantastic!). While leaving, I peeked back in and noticed there was still nobody inside the bar. Ironically, one of the bartenders was behind the bar playing on his device!

Drinks were very good! Had a band there that played great music. At times it was loud and difficult to have good conversation.

If you look at Sarah Hayley’s comment about charging more than the stated price , we had the same experience ! They put the credit card pricing on the ticket upon presentation which is different than the menu price - why are they assuming you are paying by credit card when they bring you the bill.. further.. why do they not ask you ?? I paid cash - he said the bill would reflect the cash pricing when I paid . It did not ! This is deceptive pricing (not to mention they did not change the price as they said would happen ) and I will not be back and not encourage others to patron this place. Advice to them… just put the credit card pass on fee to customers at the bottom of the bill- be transparent

Was here w some friends and ordered a martini. I asked for it in a highball glass and don’t think I needed to ask for ice with it but it came with no ice just in the highball glass. They gave me ice. It was a $16 drink with ice that wasn’t even half full. I’m pretty sure my friends who just opted for the actual martini straight up got a bigger drink, I ordered this way because I like my drinks a little watered down. Service was good though. Just felt like the portions were small for what you pay.

In town for my monthly business overnight and decided to try this place . Upon entering immediately told no computers allowed. I was alone and not in my home city. I laughed and said are you serious? Bartender replied yes, owner wants this to be a social environment. Good luck with that attitude. I promptly left. Unbelievable. I will make sure and post my experience to my central texas bar blog..

I typically don’t leave reviews for businesses unless I am truly blown away; however, this place truly surprised me. I tried to give as much patience as possible to our server and the service in general.
I let the server know that it was my first time dining there and asked a few questions. We got the bare minimum responses and she hardly came by our table at all after ordering.
The place itself is beautiful and the atmosphere with the live music was great but the lack of service was disappointing.
After it all we were ready to cash out, and rather than asking how we were paying she assumed we would pay card. Which when reviewing the ticket, was much higher priced than the menu stated.
When we asked about the differing prices we were told that those prices are only if you are paying cash. Which was written in tiny font on the last page of the menu.
When we said, yes we are paying cash but the ticket is showing this price instead, we were met with oh well your energy is a lot right now and I got flustered.
From the manager.
How can a place like this not only barely serve customers but also give a higher price when checking out without explaining the cash prices on the menu?
I will not be coming back here, first and only time eating here.

Stopped in here late afternoon with my best friend and enjoyed a few really tasty glasses of the house pinot noir for happy hour. The bartender that took care of us was very attentive and polite. We also ordered the hummus plate, which was delicious, but do wish there were a few more veggies on the plate. The pita bread that came with it was perfect! This place has a really great chill, relaxing vibe - perfect if you're wanting to just sit, sip a drink and have a nice conversation with friends!

It's a really cool spot for happy hour. Had an app and a drink. The old fashioned was awesome! Highly recommend. Hummus plate was artfully arranged and tasty to boot. The bartenders are fun to chat up and so are the patrons. The only thing that struck me as a bit sus was the glass of wine I got....they charged me $23. It wasn't on the menu. Idk if they jacked up the price because they knew I'm a doctor, or if it was really that fancy of a vino?! 🍷 🤔 the most expensive glass on their menu was $14 which I thought was even a bit steep. Whatever the case, lesson learned. I'll ask next time before I sample something not on the menu 🤑

My husband and I love Lounge 93! Everytime we’ve been here, we haven’t been disappointed. We love wine, and the selection they have is always top notch. Their food is great too! We’ve gone for date nights in the evenings, but we also love their brunch - you gotta try the shrimp & grits! Also, if it’s a nice evening, opt for the outdoor seating, you’ll feel like you’re at a resort while looking out at the water. This is a Waco gem! You’ll love it. :)

Sat at bar for at least 10 m with no service from bartender. I was the only brown person that wasn't there working so im assumed he thought I was working. Racist feeling so just walked out.

We loved this place. We came for the live music and it was an amazing experience. The manager, Ray, is super helpful. And so is the bar tender, McKenzie.
