If you are in Waco passing by or visiting and you are into wine, this is a great wine place to hang. Lovely ambience. Great location. Plenty parking spaces. Food was kind of average but the service was great and the wine choices were phenomenal. I also enjoyed the total vibe at the Chef’s Table. Totally worth it. Can’t wait to be back
I didn't realize that the fried chicken was dark meat. Other than that and the overly sweet honey on it, all was well. The charcuterie board was awesome, as were the fried green tomatoes.
If you are looking for a great place to meet friends for a wonderful drink, make a reservation at Oak & Ivy. Reservation is not necessary, but it was nice not to have to wait. I recommend the chocolate cherry old fashion.Stuffed quail on a bed of mashed potatoes was excellent and may be too spicy for some. The charcuterie board for 2 came with plenty to share with a party of 4, with excellent cheese and flat bread.Smoked salmon was tasty.Was not impressed with the flat bread...
