First time I went to Mell’s Grill, I was sold. Now I make it a goal to go every week! 10/10 service and food every time! Def give his specials a try too, it’s so worth it! He never misses on delivering excellence🙌

I can't leave this part out- talked to the owner and it's a family friendly establishment! I cannot freaking wait for my daughter to get to see Mommy shine! I can not be more excited about this Event Center!

Great to find a place like this here in Denison! Food was great, some of the best catfish I've eaten! Funky little blues band,atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. We will definitely frequent this place!!!

We had a family reunion, (Pratt Family Reunion) here and it was amazing. It had enough space and had the perfect layout needed for our event. Owners were nice and were very accommodating .The venue was priced reasonably. The food was made by a cousin but still delicious. I highly recommend.

This was an amazing find! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was so welcoming! Mel and his wife have a beautiful vision for this restaurant and a heart for the community! We look forward to visiting regularly!

We have never eaten there as my husband is with the band playing. The band has to collect the fee from customers meaning a wife usually has to do so. It's not a bad place, however, it's basically a serve yourself while the band entertainment is going on.

Food is OUTSTANDING!!!

One of the best hidden gems in town! Y'all get over here and see why this place has such amazing reviews. We tried the catfish and shrimp with collard greens and brisket beans WOW. Oh did I mention we got to enjoy our dinner with a live blues band?? Mell and his family are running a beautiful place, come a what all the fuss is about, we are glad we did!!

Never eaten here heard the food was good and hot but he did let me use his place to throw my lil girls sweet 16 party. Very cool guy and helpful. He has 2 venues. Check him out

Amazing food! Blackened chicken was Mells own blend of spices. The smothered pork was so tender and delicious. The live music was great
