Definitely not authentic. Me and my children walked in and I instantly wanted to turn and walk out. We are Mexicans from California so maybe the panderias are different in Texas but it didn't even smell like a bakery, no aroma at all and the ladies by the counter were not welcoming, just stared instead of making small talk. I said hello and browsed for a second as to not be rude but knew the second I walked in I wasn't buying anything. I'm still not sure how a bakery could not smell of bread or sweets. It seemed more of a gift shop with some cute trinkets that also happened to have a few prepackaged conchas ready to sell. Very disappointed as we were excited for some fresh Mexican made pan dulce. We'll just keep looking.

What was disappointing is that of the two pastries we picked, neither had much flavor. It was just like eating a sweet bread. If you love the flavor and texture of pan dulce, this place is for you. Otherwise, not much difference in texture or flavor, for us.

Great Mexican bakery in downtown Wylie! Very nice staff. Excellent jaimaica.
Overpriced bread that is not that good. Save your $$ and go elsewhere
The pan dulce is not good. It gets really hard the next day and it does not taste authentic. The bread is hard and dry and it just doesn’t have that pan dulce authenticity. There are other bakeries that we buy pan dulce, the freshness of it will last a few days without going hard or stale. I thought about giving this place a second chance, but when I stopped by, there was a fly tasting every piece of bread in the self-serve area inside. This was just so unhygienic for me so I just left. The service is whatever, I did not feel that the customer service was top notch or welcoming, the lady at the front appeared to be annoyed and did not acknowledged us as customers. When I tried to address the fly being on the bread, the lady just ignored me and when inside. Very disappointing, Never stopping here again!
Hospitable great service very very good bread highly recommended ?
Very unfriendly dude at the register. As me and my family walked into this place he clearly appeared bothered...I said good morning..he did not acknowledge and didn't reply..I asked do you have decaf..he quickly said "nop"...then asked..do you have regular ..he just noded with an angry grim without replying...he kept looking to the sides as if looking for someone else to take his place..if this is the face of this establishment..then I definitely don't want any business here. I suggest you get rid of the unfrienly vibes if you want to stay in business.
Super small and non friendly vibes early in the morning. Good if you like only have 6 options of bread.
I walked in no Aroma,Mexican Bakerie's Usually fill the Air with fresh Baked Pan Dulce! I thought i was by myself in the store! I looked around no one was up front, I looked at all the Noveltie's Spent more on the Noveltie's than the bread it self Bought 2 Pan De Huevo (The Round One's they are White or Pink Or Chocolate or Yellow),Not as fresh as they look ,the Cuernitos (little Horns)i didn't buy way to big usually they are small so i'll stick to what i grew up with, didn't see the traditional empanadas.Bought the Cinnimon&Sugar Cookies Ok @3.50. Finally ready to check out,I tried to make conversation but i guess they didn't feel like acknowledging a customer.Spent 22.92 On Noveltie's,I'll return for those @ Christmas if i need gift's.

We ordered a truckload of pastries from our favorite local Mexican bakery for our wedding and they were a huge hit. The ordering and pickup process went smoothly, we kept returning to the bakery in the months leading up to the wedding to “iron out details”- which is code for eating a bunch of pan dulce and visiting with the owner, who is super nice. I absolutely love this place and am so glad they were able to accommodate our large order for our wedding. The guests loved the pastries and we all gathered the following morning to polish off the leftovers! We will be back, many times, for sure. 10/10 recommend
Pineapple empanadas needed much more filling. I had several that had scant filling. Bolillos were denser than I'm used to. Maranito was pretty dry. The conchas and mantequillas were just ok. I only really liked the large cookie pastry. It had a nice flavor. I grew up on Esperanza's Bakery on Main St in Fort Worth. I know this bakery is not affiliated with that one but the similarities in the name got my hopes up.
Everything is so fresh and tastes amazing. It reminds me of everything I had always eaten growing up here in Texas. One of my favorite spots in downtown wylie.
Love this place! I'm here atleast once or twice a week! The hot cocoa is amazing, the coffee is so good and ofc the pan dulce!! Super soft, not too sweet-its perfect! I don't get my pan dulce anywhere else P.S. the elote is so tasty!!! ? it comes in a cute cup!The owners are always so kind and super friendly!!
Excellent, bright, clean bakery with large variety of fresh and tasty pan dulce. Prices reasonable, staff cheerful and attentive. The stuffed pan dulce toys made me smile and I think they’d make great gifts for Mexican pastry fans. Located in a surprisingly vibrant little shopping area in Wylie. WORTH THE TRIP!
