What was disappointing is that of the two pastries we picked, neither had much flavor. It was just like eating a sweet bread. If you love the flavor and texture of pan dulce, this place is for you. Otherwise, not much difference in texture or flavor, for us.

We ordered a truckload of pastries from our favorite local Mexican bakery for our wedding and they were a huge hit. The ordering and pickup process went smoothly, we kept returning to the bakery in the months leading up to the wedding to “iron out details”- which is code for eating a bunch of pan dulce and visiting with the owner, who is super nice.
