This place was awesome. The food was great. Customer service was on point. The crawfish was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend coming here to try. We had a group of six people to seven came around dinner time. The sauce and the crawfish was at 10 at 10. Will be coming back thank you.

My son wanted to try The South, and I’ll admit I wasn’t that excited at first since I don’t eat fried food. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Everything we had was fabulous, and the service was excellent as well. You have to try the desserts! We’ll definitely be back!

The food was tasty. It's in an optimal location - you're not gonna find Cajun food that good anywhere else in this area. The service is top tier! The spot is small and quaint, it would be nice if they had more space. It is my go to for Cajun food in this area.

My sisters and I went to The South yesterday my first time there and it was a great experience. The customer service was amazing from our server and I believe the owner as well (I forgot to get their names). We started with boudin balls as our appetizer. For our meals, we had the shrimp étouffée, chicken fried chicken, and D’s chicken sandwich. Each meal came with two sides. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, was hot, and very flavorful. We also received complimentary pork rinds, which were really good. The cornbread was our favorite moist, sweet, and honestly so good. Overall, everything we tried was delicious. I’ll definitely be back for the live crawfish.

Went this evening with several friends for our monthly dinner. All six of us thought the food was very good and we each had a different dish. We will definitely return.

Service and wait staff was great. I had catfish, it was a little salty(and I love salt) but wow did it come out HOT! Just what you want in fish. Tartar sauce tasted and look bottled. The complimentary pork rinds were served warm and were really good. My dining partner has the crawfish ettoufe, it was very rich and thick with small pieces of crawfish. The rice was a bit gummy. Apps are a bit expensive compared to the entrees (850 for 3 squares of cornbread) which were more than daily priced. The chairs and tables feel a bit inexpensive and flimsy, doesn't encourage you to linger. It's a cute place and could be cozy with a bit of furniture upgrade, otherwise it's a decent lunch spot. The food is good, the service is phenomenal, and there is potential here.

Excellent food and service! I had “The Dirty South” which is their signature dish. I opted for blackened shrimp with dirty rice and collard greens. It was excellent! The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the sauce and dirty rice with the collard greens made for a very flavorful dish. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We also met the owner who was very nice and made us feel very welcomed. Awesome
Mom and Pop place!

Great food with plenty of options for my family who doesn't eat pork or shellfish, and 2 family members who are wheat/gluten free. On the smaller side so seating is limited. Food takes awhile to get ready, so we prefer to order ahead and take to go.
